It's so obvious Mancini will still be here next season,I don't know why this shit keeps getting dragged up,especially on here.
Not in the wider scheme of things it isn't. The way we will attract world class players and sponsors is through the CL. But we should be capable of doing well in both.BringBackSwales said:greasedupdeafguy said:Im sure the owner, Begiristain, Soriano and most fans doEL APACHE TEVEZ said:who gives a fuck about europe, the premier league is our priority, sick to fucking death of people carping on about mancini cant get teams through the group stage, big deal.
everyone I know who has been going a long time would put the league first and foremost, above ANY cup competition; all would like to do well in both of course, but league is priority

That's one way to stop Mario scoring.

Any my understanding is everyone knew it was really only for 3 years at most.
It could certainly explain why Guardiola went to Bayern if he thought Mancini was here for two more years and also ties in nicely with salfordpaul's info that he (PG) is coming here in 2 years.
In which case Pep would have signed for 2 years? I don't buy the Pep story at all to be honest PB.
got Klopp lined up in a couple of years time and it suits them.

THIS.
Mancini has done well in his 3.5 years here, aside from the shambles in Europe. That being said, next season our main two rivals are changing managers. We keep Mancini and we will walk the league. He also deserves another shot in Europe as both previous campaigns we mysteriously landed in the group of death. Back him properly in the transfer window and let him have one more crack. Sick of this pellegrini nonsense.

we won't "walk the league" - IIRC Mourinho won it in his first season at Chelsea last time so lets not be smug and right them off, and he is walking into a better team now than he did last time
