Everyone keeps going on about keeping Mancini so we can use our relative stability as an advantage against Utd next season...

Does anyone think Fergie is actually leaving Utd? He's moving upstairs, he'll still be around, to offer advice to Moyes (who is a very capable manager) and to pick up the pieces if things go wrong. It's not going to affect them at all, it may even make them stronger as they will have a manager who can be what Ferguson wishes he still was, rather than one who was having to become increasingly hands off due to his growing health problems.

If you think we should keep Mancini just to win by default next season then you need to pull your head out of the sand. This is not even taking into consideration the probable re-emergence of the Mourinho-machine.

So bacon face is going to be bullying the refs from the boardroom then? Is he going to be popping down to do the team talks and run training? He may still be around but things are going to change once he is no longer manager. I wouldn't dare suggest we'd piss the league cos the rags still have a good squad but to suggest nothing will change after a team has lost their 26 year long dictator is complete bollocks.

Good point with them not spending any money and having a shit points total.

The question is not how much they spent , the question should be asked ; who fuc**** identified Garcia , when Moutinho , Mulumbu , Borja Vlaero and Montolivo were all available for cheaper amount.
Buying Rodwell was plain stupidity , when prospects like Paulinho , Maher , Jordy Clasie were available. Rodwell is talented , no one is denying that and hope he becomes a top player in a City shirt , but i fear he is destined to be another Jermaine Jenas .
If we had bought decent players rather than wasting money on Rodwell or Garcia , we would have been able to spend the money that we saved , to target Jeremain Lens or Majeed Waris.
Now we are appear to be interested in Peruzzi , when we should have bought him before the start of the season , he could also come cheaper than Maicon.

Nobody enforced these signings on Mancini , and he should be sacked(hopefully) for being so much wasteful with the money.

I disagree. Having 2 coaches has never worked. It just imasculates him. Every decision or discapline decision will have to be OK'd and that tells the players you aren't really in charge. So they will routinely go over the managershe head to the real boss every time the manager makes a decision they don't like. On the bench, complain to to the real boss. Not used as a substitute, complain to the real boss. etc...

Should he not also get some credit for the signing of Nastasic or does he not count. We can all pluck names from FM but as far as I can see spending £180m nett in seven transfer windows and adding Nastasic, Yaya, Silva, Aguero, Milner for a start isnt particularly wasteful.

And as I'm sure you know transfers (good and bad) are not the sole responsibility of the manager.

You pointed out my post , i replied. Notwithstanding , it's Sheikh's money though , therefore , he will be sacked at the end of the season or may resign.
