Short historical note for perspective.

MCFC since 1894
Champions 3 times
FA Cup 5 times
League Cup 2 times
ECWC 1 time

MCFC under Mancini
Premier league champions 1 time
FA Cup 1 time (hopefully 2 this week)

Currently 18% of our trophies won by Mancini, if successful this weekend that would rise to 25%.

Mancini has had almost 3 full seasons in charge in which time there will have been 9 domestic trophies available. If we win the Cup he will have won 1/3 of them.

Just the facts, just the facts.
Cant argue, they are facts, ludicrously applied but facts none the less.

Forza.........

Is it really ludicrous to point out that if we win on Saturday, our Manager, Roberto Mancini will have delivered 25% of the top flight Silverware in our clubs' entire history?

It's only ludicrous because those facts stick in your craw FI, and they are not 'facts' you can explain away just because you don't like the man.

Ah so we are ignoring the other competitions and judging him solely on the league now?

Somehow I don't think we will be applying that rule for Mancini.

Just a hunch.

Qualified the groups as well as league. You know I wrote that yet you seem to have purposely missed this.

I did? You mean where I mentioned Madrid were knocked out by Lyon in the last round of 16? That's meant to impress me? Hell Mancini got to the QF with Inter and I ain't impressed by that either.

Second is second. There is no way I would argue that we have had a great season this year. Win the FA Cup and its been a good season but not a great one. Pellegrini getting second and winning fuck all with Madrid does not equate to him doing a 'great job' with Madrid either.

Pellegrini has done an excellent job with Malaga this season and no one is disputing that but we ain't Malaga and the expectations and pressures are not comparable. AVB crashed and burned at Chelsea because he couldn't handle it. Spurs he is doing a lot better because the expectations are less. Everyone has a level and at 60 years of age you know what your level is and your CV will reflect it.

And that is the concern.

Second is second to the blinkered. 96 points is a great achievement.

He qualified group and finished on 96 points in a debut season. Not quite as shit as you state. You are free to think how you want, no problems. Just don't undermine actual facts and achievements to further your opinion. You made a good post except for that to be frank.

AVB didn't crash and burn either. He was there all of a few fucking months. Jesus, exaggerating a point again I see. He was told to phase out a few older members, he was still 'green' and didn't implement this very difficult task as well as he should have and ended up being double crossed by Roman. Things were so bad Terry all of a sudden could play once he got sacked even though he was injured and Cole stood up in pre-match training and said 'we will win nothing under you'.

Colem, Lampard, Terry and Drogba are the old guard, he was tasked in getting rid of all 4. They were the undoing of him yet you dismiss him and then say he's doing ok at Spurs because of ambitions being less. Bollocks. He has 2 strikers and ones ACON duty and a ****, the other is a crock who has the occasional great game. Yet he's still kept them there and abouts.

You can make a point, you make it well, but you don't need to twist and exaggerate to get your point across Bob.

I hate the ' cold wet night in Stoke' comments but sometimes they're apt, does anyone think Suarez, Lopes, Pozo etc.. are ready to handle the Prem yet?

They said the same about Iniesta , too short to play football and when his progress was stalled , they decided to loan him out. Not trying to overrate any of our youth players , most of the time it's all about getting the chance under the right manager.

Mancini out? You must be having a giraffe.

Facts are facts. A possible fourth trophy in three years is success to me.

Some people need a slap.

Agreed I don't.

For example I didn't say Pellegrini had a 'shit' season at Madrid. I don't say he had a 'great' one either. 96 points is a great achievement if you win the bloody league. If you don't win the bloody league 96 points means you are just an unlucky bastard and no one wants an unlucky bastard in charge.

AVB was reduced to a shell of man taking to sleeping at the ground such was the pressure on him. It was an immense job AVB was tasked to do and he wasn't capable of doing it. Rafa can and would do it but then Rafa has the experience and the personality to cope with it.

AVB in 15 years time may be better equipped to handle the sort of challenge Chelsea presented but it is no shame to admit he was out of his depth at such an early stage in his career and that Spurs is a much better fit and consequently he is doing a good job at Spurs.

And yes Spurs ambitions are not Chelsea's ambitions. Malaga's ambitions are not our ambitions and it is the cause of much grief that people think doing well at one club automatically means that this 'success' can translate to another club. It rarely does. Just ask Mark Hughes.

96 points but finished SECOND, in fact, the same position that we will likely finish and yet you want Mancini sacked ycnmiu ! Perhaps the only reason the points total was so high was down to the poor quality of the rest of the league and that would seem to be the indication if that points total didn't win the league. However, the fact remains he failed to secure enough points to win the league, despite the fact he had pots of money thrown at him (something that the outers seem to use to decry Mancini's achievements) and has singly failed to win anything at a decent level.

The mere fact he is also of pensionable age indicates he is not the right long term manager for MCFC.
