Me too.....
I think what PB is trying to say is that Mancini is cutting and running, leaving us in the lurch, so to speak.

Havent we been told that for the past three years though.
Well we were certainly still on the lookout in the spring of 2010 and he admitted he was talking to Monaco in 2012. I think we were OK in 2011 though.

tbf to Bobby every newspaper (rag tops and broadsheets) was saying he was going to get sacked (before the scum threw it away) and I do not think that looking for a new job when you are about to probably get the sack from your old one is that big a sin, do you, really?

He's not calling it a sin. He's using as evidence that mancini's future has been in the balance before.

Did he resign on any of these occasions as we were told he would be doing?

just gettin off the subject, ever so slightly: apparently, David Moyes IS going to the rags. Which means Mourinho is deffo not goin there. Not that I really want him, just narrows it down a bit. Maybe Mancini will be given another season. We'll see.

as from today utd are weaker, much weaker. lets not weaken ourselves. any manager they get in will need "time", mancini has done his "time" and we are ahead of them for the first time in decades. would be criminal to give this opportunity up.

Ultimately if we did not give him some of the terms of the contract - he would have done one. It took some time to iron the deal out considering he had just won the league.

Me personally hopes he moves on after winning the cup this weekend. Leaving on a high.

Last thing I want to see is Moyes doing a number on him again after moving to the RAGs.

Fresh start - Mancini becomes a part of our history (a successful) and we get a new guy in to take on Mourinho & Moyes

Fair point this.

Or maybe now is the time to turn the screw, go up a level and get a manager who can get the best from our superior squad.
