I know it's in our DNA to fear the worst but imagine this:

Today: Chelsea draw

Tomorrow: Liverpool lose

Wednesday: City win

Sunday: Party

:-)

One prediction down :-) two to go......

So IF palace beat them tomorrow and we beat villa its all over?
no

It is all but mathematically there wouldn't be an eleven goal swing in one game.

Hopefully the Chelsea result today will be a fresh reminder to our boys that just because a team is low down, doesn't mean they can't pick up points against us (not that we need a reminder after what Sunderland did to us a few weeks ago).

100% effort is needed. Win this game next and then move on to west ham. It doesn't matter what Liverpool do tomorrow, all our thoughts and efforts should be on villa on Wednesday!

technically yes, unless krul kicks his GKs in the opposite direction. it's all down to the math now.

I hope newcastle do not roll over and end the season on a high. In spite of the off-field events, their football in the weekend is decent enough to frustrate in the last game and just a hurrah for the fans they should end on a high.

It is all but mathematically there wouldn't be a ten goal swing in one game
agreed, therefore not all over
we could lose 5-0 west ham and Liverpool beat the magpies 8-0

Remy hat trick in his last game would be a suitable send off.
