It should be done the easy in the next two games, but there is no chance of that.
So you think you will be doing it the hard way? I know how that feels. :(

If we attack you it will be about 7-0. If we defend it will only be 4 or 5. A lot of you are hyping us up far too much, we are crap trust me. Ok we beat you at home but most of our fans admit it was the flukiest win of the season, you battered us and we had 3 shots. Lambert is a clueless buffoon and I don't believe a word he says, if he says he's going to attack then we'll probably play with ten men behind the ball. We went to Palace and played for a 0-0 draw and played for a 0-0 at home to Southampton. We are one of the luckiest teams to ever stay up this season.

I like Lamb, did a great job Colchester and Norwich, now he's been told to reduce the wage bill and keep you in the Premiership. The inconsistency is obviously going to happen with a bunch of youngsters.
Doing a good job at them and doing it at Villa is very different. Staying up and finishing say 14th with Norwich would have been a good season for him and them, however it is a failure for us. Our expectations are so much higher. Not saying we have a divine right to be top 8 or top half but he's spent £42m in two seasons and our wage bill is still the 7th highest in the league. The likes of Stoke and Palace shouldn't be above us, how much money have they spent? He's had money to spend and signed mostly crap. El Ahmadi, Tonev, Sylla, Helenius to name just a few. Then the most embarrassing signing we've ever made in Grant Holt. He couldn't get a game for Championship Wigan so we get him on loan, what a joke. If Lambert is still here next season our fans will be furious.

There were some stats flashed up on SSN last night after the Liverpool Palace game, relating to when Pulis took over, since then City have gained more points than any one else, something like 61 to Liverpool's 58 or so, which puts it all into context, all that raving and waxing poetic about Liverpool, and City have quietly gone about their business.

I think we will be very professional again against Villa, the side are defending quite well, and Yaya / Silva are tearing teams apart, not to mention Dzeko rising to the occasion again, our experience of the run in to the title will be invaluable,

Hart
Zaba Vinny Demi Kolarov
Ferna Garcia
Nasri Yaya Silva
Dzeko

No f*cking about. Lets win this.

I'm a Villa fan, and, in reply to some of the stuff posted here:

- I can't stand Liverpool. I hope they never win the league again. Ever.

- I don't really give too much of a shit if you've bought the league. Money rules. There's no point getting upset about it. If it isn't you it'll just be someone even more objectionable, like Chelsea.

- VillaTalk is populated by uppity spastics. You're lucky you couldn't post there.

- There is some utter bollocks on here about Villa. To suggest our fans are any more bitter about you than anyone else is rubbish. Some of us even remember the "Good Luck Villa, From the City of Manchester" banner, but I suspect most of those rolling out the "bitter" line weren't around that far back.

re tomorrow

- Benteke isn't just out (I cant believe some of you are acting like this is a surprise, he can't stand up to go for a piss at the moment, let alone play, he's out till Christmas)

- we have a much better record against decent sides than we do shit ones. We beat you, obviously (although the first half was the most one sided 45 minutes I've ever seen), but we also took a point at Anfield, won at the Emirates, beat Chelsea at home and should have won at Stamford Bridge but for a ludicrous refereeing performance.

- we are a team which is affected massively by confidence. When we've got it, we are capable of playing very well indeed, way beyond our league position. When we don't have it, we are one of the worst teams in the league. Tomorrow we're safe, we've got nothing to play for, the pressure is totally off. My money is not on us winning or getting anything, but I am almost certain it will be one of our better displays, absolutely.

I genuinely dont understand why so many of you seem so bitter. We are currently financially entirely feeble. We are no threat to you, but there seems a fair old amount of bitterness.

Basically, it'll be an interesting game tomorrow, but, just like it was the fact that Liverpool weren't good enough to beat Palace which screwed them last night, if you can't beat us, then maybe you don't deserve to win the league.

We'll find out tomorrow.
