A great tribute to the day is the book "City 'till I Die' by David Chidlow, speaks volumes that there's a book about just one game.
Guess there must be a few people on here that get a mention in it ?

this little book is my favourite city thing of all time.

I remember that day so well. I was in Somerset visiting my sister, shortly after my divorce, and we took her young son to the Yeovilton aircraft museum to see the Concorde and other aircraft. I got into the car and nervously tuned in to the BBC radio broadcast. It wasn’t good . So my sister offered to take the wheel so I could listen and by the time we got back to her house five miles away, Paul Dickov had become a City legend.
