My guess.

.............Pantyman........
Boyata Lescott Nasti Clichy
Garcia Rodwell
Lopes. Milner
Jovetic Dzeko/Negredo.

Should still be enough to see off the hammers reserves..

There is no indication at all WHU will play a reserve team, they do not have a game at weekend.

No kids from West Ham it looks like:
I'll be amazed if he risks his best players, apart from Carroll who he needs to get fit, and the quoted bit doesn't sound like "full team" anyway. He also has to try and attract a crowd.
After Tuesday's game it will be 8 days until their next game, so they don't need to worry too much about resting players for the league.

Plus that games Chelsea away..
Don't agree pudge, the risk is injury, and they already have a few, they simply don't need to risk players to injury in this one, they won't score 7. Carroll is a different thing, they need to get him match fit, so he will play, probably an hour I guess.

And are you suggesting they throw the Chelsea game ? They have to play their best available team in that, if they do you just never know.

Allardyce has already said that the cup competitions are a waste of time, so surely a 2 legged tie, where you are already 6 down from the first is an even bigger waste of time ?

You risk injury in every game.

West Ham don't want a repeat of the first leg or a double digit aggregate score. They're at home, in front of the same fans who paid to see them thumped in the first leg and that saw a weakened team get thumped by a Championship side.

They have players just coming back from injury that will need the same game time like Sergio's getting or that Jovetic will, hopefully, get.

Collins, Morrison, Diame who all missed the first leg will more than likely play imo and then Carroll will come on at some point.

Diame played the full game in the first leg, was their best player outside the keeper.

We'll see who they risk, but I'll be amazed if they play a strong PL side in a game they have virtually no hope in.

A win here (regardless of the tie being hopelessly lost already) would give them a good confidence boost. I think Allardyce will put out a decently strong outfit, but even with our second XI, I expect us at worst to draw.

For strikers, I would play Aguero and Jovetic one half each; and Dzeko. Give Negredo a rest and he can play against Watford with Jovetic maybe playing 60 mins if he can manage.

I think West Ham will play close to if not a best XI, if it is the case then I expect us to put out a decent side, obviously resting some key players but playing a complete reserve side with a few kids in it could and probably would see us get beat.

There is no way Pellegrini will forfeit this match at the cost of ending this unbeaten run we are on, we have to keep confidence high in my opinion.

----------------- Pantillimon ----------------
Richards - Lescott - Nastasic - Clichy
--------- Garcia -------------------------------
---------------------------- Rodwell ---------
---- Lopes -------------------- Milner -----

---------- Džeko ---------- Jovetic ---------

Subs: Hart - Agüero - Demichelis - Silva - Huws - Boyata - Facey

Why would they play their best eleven?
