Manchester City vs Hull City post match thread

Pellegrinis' time must surely be up now. We can't continue raising our game in the big matches then succumbing at home to teams like Hull. The way our season is panning out is we'll beat Barcelona then struggle against Leicester and Burnley. Our style of play is so easy to play against. We pass the ball to death with no real danger of creating openings and every player has to take two, three, four touches before releasing the ball. It's so frustrating to watch. It's like we are playing with handcuffs on. The vultures were already circling before the Chelsea game, which i think bought him more time. I mean come on lads if YOU were our owner watching that today would YOU be asking questions??

Worst performance for some time that imo.

A collective cant-really-be-arsed-ness to it all. Didn't look like a group of men who wanted to fight for the title.

I was concerned in the week when I watched Kompany's interview on Sky where he seemed uncharacteristically arrogant and blase about being 5 behind Chelsea. It carried through into that team performance today.

I felt some of the players had aN 'I know I'm on my way so fuck it' look to them today.

Aguero and Nasri very clearly not properly fit.

Its also abundantly clear that no Toure = no City. Simple as that.

I'm usually an optimist but I feel that's our season over today. Chelsea wont blow 7 points and we aren;t winning the CL.

Very deflated.

We've won 1 in 6 since in the league since boxing day. Failed to beat Stoke, Burnley and Hull at home. That in itself is shambolic.

Can't defend to save our lives at the moment, look sluggish going forward, possession is just in our own half passing from full back to full back. We've got no killer final pass until Yaya comes back.

We battered Chelsea last week, yet decide to play 2 strikers up front who are both returning from injury!? Madness! Add that to a returning Nasri, our only fully fit attacking player was Silva! Navas has his best game of the season and he's dropped the next game. Teams like that know how to play against us, simply put every one on the edge of their box and we can't break them down at all.

Need a miracle to be within touching distance of Chelsea come May.

Pelligrini is responsible without any doubt. Why can't he play with one striker at least till we are back to our normal performance level?
This is really shame, it is obvious that pelli is out of any ideas, sometime you think that the team has no clue of what need to be done to comeback to the game.

I do not follow an international team so this must be the first I can honestly say I can't wait for the international break

and we need to find at least one corner routine that works

In short: We were shit, substitutions were shit, this season is shit. Play like this come CL and Barca will have a field day.

Forgot Chelsea. Battle is fully on for CL qualification next season. Would hate to finish 4 (knowing us we would go out in the qualifier) so 2-3 places to fight for with us, Utd, Southampton, Arsenal, spurs, Liverpool all more than capable of taking the spots.

Cant say "one of those days" as we seem to have had one of those in every game since boxing day. 5 games without a win, 1 goal in last 3 home games, woefully out of form, players unfit, pathetic corners, awful biased officiating against us each week, strange tactics and subs, something is clearly not right behind the scenes.
