This is the same team that conceded almost a whole half of possession against Southampton last week. AT HOME. We are going to get rucking reamed. Pellegrini never learns, does he??

Jesus wept! You were crying like a right tart on the Southampton Match thread last week until we went 3-1 up. We've not even kicked off yet and you're crying again.

Pellegrini has balls of steel with that line-up.

Essentially saying, we won't change for Liverpool.

Just hope he has not allowed his commendable faith and trust in these players to cloud his thinking?

He did likewise for that Bayern home game and it was too late to fix it.

Great to see Vinny man up, and in a World Cup year, too!

A leader of men

Do you think this will end well?

Jovetic is indeed dropped, interesting.

Pantilimon, Lescott, Milner, Negredo, Kolarov, Garcia, Aguero.

Dzeko really needs to prove himself and actually finish chances! Can't be wasting chances like he normally does!

He's a big game player mate. He will be dynamite today, i am confident.

Sorry, but this is only going to end up one way.

The Liverpool love-in on TV is cringeworthy and a Scum team of the past would go there and burst the bubble.

City won't.

Either Kompany will break down early or DeMichellis will concede a penalty or get sent off.

Prepare yourselves for a huge let down people.

He wants us to be on the front foot because their weakness is at the back, but it could well backfire I agree

Key area for us defensively is gonna be inbetween the 2 CM and CBs. At home we gave them too much space there in the 1st half. Gotta keep it tight.

Both their fullbacks are vulnerable

Come on City lets batter these, get at Gerrard from the off, mark him out the game and we've cracked it.
