Fan's volume doesn't matter as much as you think in title challenging games. In the Champions League I can see it having a greater impact. Take Chelsea v Galatasaray for instance, the Turks were deafening. You don't get that in the premier league. City players wont be phased by the Liverpool support.
Lyon v Juventus last Thursday, Lyon fans were absolutely deafening, shit game dominated by a poor Juve team who won 0-1.

You are really just digging yourself a deeper hole mate...may i ask why you keep reffering to my nationality and how many Englishmen are in city's starting line up?

Each and every post of yours just highlights my superior football knowledge in comparison to yourself, so please, do carry on.
Why does how many Englishmen in city's line up matter in the course of the game or the title race?
As for nationality, I never referenced it, I did reference your location due to your post about anfield's atmosphere. It's very hard to hear someone in Serbia when you're standing on Merseyside.
As for the post highlighted in bold, whatever makes you feel better about yourself mate.
Enjoy your brief stay.

Plus three of our probable starters on Sunday played in Argentina, where the noise at matches will make Anfield on Sunday look like Prenton Park for an end of season dead rubber.

'Like nothing you've ever seen'. PMSL.
Never mind the lads we had playing to the noise of Vuvuzelas in 2010, Kolarov's experience of running up against the Roma ultras in their home derby when he scored two goals, Yaya playing in Greece and in the Bernabeu for the away side in Classicos, Fernandinho playing in Eastern Europe. nope, we'll shit ourselves.

All that plus Dzeko who played in Bundesliga. Remember all those Dortmund fans he faced when playing for Wolfsburg.

Yep, whilst I agree that the atmosphere at Liverpool will be electric I do believe the scousers are over emphasising it somewhat. Given the experience of our squad, and some of the games they've played in, both at City and for their former clubs, I highly doubt they will be overawed and struggle with the game on Sunday. They are experienced professionals used to playing in these types of games, it won't come as a shock to any of them.

Cant quite grasp why all the shit slinging is going on between us and Liverpool to be honest, the two teams playing the best football and scoring the most goals come together for what could be a Premier League decider and all some on here can do is spew out meaningless stats and sling handbags about. Man up the lot of you, it will be a great game and the winner will probably lift the title, not because of this game but because they will have been the best team over 38 games, ends of. If Liverpool go on to beat us and win the league fair play to them I say. That said, I believe City will get the result we need on Sunday, stats mean zero from here on in. The advantage we have against Liverpool is that the title is in our hands, if we win all our games or even only manage a draw against Liverpool and win the rest, there is not a thing they or any other team can do to stop us being Champions, I for one would not swap that position for theirs. As for City choking because of the atmosphere... ;-) that's a joke and whoever said that knows it and is clutching at straws.

ok I'm done, lets get it on.... CTID

You've just made yourself look even sillier. You do realise the more games you play the higher the chance those stats have of decreasing?

That's not correct.

If you do something 90% of the time one game and then 90% of the time the next game it's still 90% average.

Stats don't erode over time, unless you're implying that everything starts brilliantly and inevitably routinely gets worse.

A smaller sample set is more prone to give you a false result, either positively or negatively. One poor performance is magnified by the lack of opportunities to have good performances, equally one excellent performance skews the stats in the other direction as it isn't "evened out" by more typical performances. Basically the smaller the sample set the more influential outliers will be to the overall position.

In your example you may do something 90% of the time in one game, but whose to say that 90% wasn't you having a blinder? Or conversely, maybe you're actually a 97% guy and you were having, for you, an off day? If you do something 90% of the time over a 15 game period, it's a decent measure, however 90% of the time over a 30 game period is a better measure as it will have diluted the outliers to such a degree as to be a more true approximation of the real average position.

Just got back off my lunch to find that you have cleared this up perfectly, thanks Matty.

Don't fall out of any Serbian trees now Ninja Boy.

Yep all International players, some of which have captained their country, some of which have won world cups/Euro's are going to be very cautious of your carnival atmosphere on Sunday.

Give it a rest.

Like our players are all wet behind the ears. What nonsense!

Isn't this typical of the arrogant nature of the $ky4 Establishment - all that yah boo suck "I know more than you".

Silva? Cautious? Seriously....

Whilst its' nice to have local lads in the team it doesn't bother me if we field 11 foreign players. They are all OUR players. It's irrelevant to the title race, and it isn't a virtue.

As for Boxing Day Liverpool did have a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside, but every time we hd a corner Skrtel had hold of a City shirt...how many penalties did Lee Mason not give us?

Pellegrini "much better than Mancini" - much better man manager, yes, but overall...time wil tell. Let's not jump the gun.

Liverpool "more of a team" ? What nonsense. What a lazy falsehood that is. Liverpool have a good manager are clearly a good team, as are City. MCFC won a title and are in contention for another. Titles are not won over 38 games by individual quality alone. We defended as a team and attacked as a team in 2011/12 - having great individuals made that team even better. We'll see who the better team is after 38 games this season.

Liverpool have it all to prove. They've had a very good season, and we'll respect them as opponents, doubtless. I know which team I'd rather have, though. I just hope they can win there, and shut Liverpool and their fawning media chums up!

If there's one thing this thread proves in abundance it's that we are a tolerant lot on Bluemoon.
We put up with dippers claiming that Sturridge is better than Aguero, that the noise at Klanfield on Sunday will make a Motorhead gig sound like a Trappist monastery, and then get told that we need to learn lessons in humility.
Yet one post on RAWK promoting my new Candle Poundshop on Miseryside and I'm banned.
It's like fucking North Korea on there.

Tell me someone hasn't said Sturridge is better than Aguero. I could handle Suarez just but Sturridge!!!
