How's the weather up there?

Been raining constantly for the last 4 hours down here in Southampton, going to leave at 1pm to allow plenty of time to get up.

What's the forecast like for around game time?

I've just given in to the cold and put on the heating............... honestly. I can't believe how cold it is in August.

Girlbob is going to need her blanket and flask tonite

I wanted to show off my new away shirt as well, now it will be covered over with a jumper and my big jacket I'm afraid!!

It should be a cracker. We will almost certainly play 4-4-2 and get overrun in midfield and with Sterling and Courtino breaking on us, likely they will score at least 1. On the other hand, our strikers have only Skyrtel to be remotely concerned about and he's always good for a fuck up or three, so we should have a field day at their end.

I am going 4-2 City.

Unfortunately the 442 and being overrun is too close to be true!

Says the Etihad tonight will suit his players much better.

Rodgers thinks his players will be more suited to the Etihad pitch, haha.

Well let's face it our pitch is the best in the country. But it's our players who will be more suited to it. Did the squad train there yesterday does anyone know?

I hadn't thought of that Karen, I could get the chance to show it off after all. Thank you for reminding me. :-)

Yes

Many calling for a lone striker with 3 in the middle. This wont happen especially in a home game.

People saying we will get over run in the middle against liverpool, we wont. Gerrard plays that deep that one of our forwards wont have to even drop overly deep to pick up gerrard. Liverpools two centre halfs see loads of the ball during games because other teams match them up 3v3 in the middle, if the 2 centre halfs see alot of the ball against us can you imagine the panic of Skrtel & Lovren when Dzeko/Jovetic/Aguero are putting them under pressure.

I dont care if they have 3 against our 2, Yaya & Fernando/Fernandinho will overpower and run the game against Henderson (overrated), gerrard (basically a 3rd centre half) and Allen/Can.

Early goal and a comfotable 3-0 win to show Rodgers last year was a one off for them.

3-1 or 3-0 to the mighty Blues..... and it will all be the ref's/weather/pitch fault.

Given that the weather usually travels west to east; if Manchester gets what we're currently getting, anyone in those uncovered corners (or on level 1) better bring a decent waterproof coat. Been pissing down for about 3-4 hours now.
