Feeling excited and nervous at the same time..Liverpool and city are two of the most attacking sides in the pl and at the same time both are equally susceptive at the back ,so would be an open game this, although obviously i hope city emerge as the winners. It is sort of a must win game too as the upcoming fixtures are no less easier than this one, come on city go for it...:)

"Susceptive?" Sorry mate but our defence is the best in the league, Chelsea conceded fewer last season because of negative tactics only.

How's the weather up there?

Been raining constantly for the last 4 hours down here in Southampton, going to leave at 1pm to allow plenty of time to get up.

What's the forecast like for around game time?

I've just given in to the cold and put on the heating............... honestly. I can't believe how cold it is in August.
I'm actually astonished! You've put the heating on? It's 14degrees! Bloody hell, women aren't half nesh!

Has to get to about 5degrees before the heating needs to be on for me. Even then it's on low and I stick a jumper on instead of raising the heating up.

I know, I know, but I'd put a jumper on & it was lower than 14 here plus you have to remember that as well as being a woman I'm old & we feel the cold!!! In my defence I only had it on for half an hour. ;-)

I know its the school holidays but I can't recall a worst August, it is well below average temperature and wet and windy to boot.

Looks like we may be in for a long Autumn/Winter.

Thermals tonight I think.

Says the Etihad tonight will suit his players much better.

Rodgers thinks his players will be more suited to the Etihad pitch, haha.

What the feck is he basing that on?!? Jesus he really is a plank if he's said that
Maybe it's 96 yards long?

My fault if we lose as still in Ireland. Good luck everyone and give 'em hell at the Etihad. Gutted not gonna be there.

And our defence should be even better this season.
