A bit surprised that no-one of my vintage has mentioned Cliff Sear .... 248 League appearances in a ten year service. Welsh international , albeit only one cap. After leaving us in 1968 he went on to have 20 year's service with Chester (at all levels, player, coach, Manager briefly) and is widely credited for discovering and developing Ian Rush . Passed away too early in 2000.
