Had a shaky start but were by far the better team in the 2nd half! Love the fact that the talk beforehand by both Cushings and then Marwood was about the Stoke FA cup final which was the catalyst for the winning mentality. What we were are doing as a football club is phenomenal. Didn't know much about the ladies football team or the manager Cushings but found out that he has coached at City for years before being given this opportunity! Love what's going on at our club with everything from the youth,women's,men's,expansion of the stadium and the training ground! Can't wait for Saturday now!

Don't believe all you read. The way the club have frozen out 2nd keeper and City supporter Andie worrall wouldn't tie in with the above.

Stupendous!

Well done the Women's team! Sloppy passing at the start but you could see the confidence growing as the game went on.

Topped the supporters table as well with an average of 949.

I don't know whether it's fair to say Andie Worrall was "frozen out" or not as I don't know the circumstances, but in fairness to her as soon as she stopped playing for the team, City started bringing her on to co-commentate on the club's social media alongside the dedicated MCWFC reporter Caroline Oatway.

Her own words " I have been frozen out of the club. I am now with what is technically the reserve team. Been the worst experience I have ever had in football, devastated by how I have been treated. But you live and learn. My contact expires in Oct so will be looking for a new adventure. Proper fallen out of love with Manchester City FC. Anyone want a season ticket "

i used to work with one of the women on the back row, she was a good footballer and was on the fringe of the England team
