Is the correct answer

Stoke City is the second oldest professional football club in the world, being formed in 1863
They have won only one major trophy, the League Cup in 1972 and they've had legends of the game represent them including Stanley Matthews and Gordon Banks
This club has an immense wealth of football history

Well put, just to add, EVERY club has history ( except perhaps MK Dons )
 
Manchester City won a major trophy before Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. We won a European trophy before Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Ajax, Porto. We have over a century of larger than life characters and stories yet we have no history.

I don't think Barca won their first major honour until 1910 neither.

And yet we refrained from accusing those clubs of having no history. It probably never crossed City fan's minds over all those decades to be so petty.
