If the MEN had any sense they would pull the article immediately and issue an apology. This will seriously damage them.
That should have happened as soon as they were alerted to it
The fact that they come on here saying it's an opinion and then write an 'alternative' opinion speaks volumes
I haven't clicked on the MEN since the bullshit story of our 'tiny' tours compared to the 'massive' tours at OT by their entertainment desk, and I won't be doing again either

That's what I was thinking, it's an outrageous slur against City, that even a few moments of decent research would have shown was wrong
An outrageous slur that they should have immediately retracted
Pull it first, discuss it later
But no, they leave it there in the public domain, come on here with a few platitudes whilst the soft **** is on twitter saying he's right

I certainly know where their loyalties lie and I'm all for a complete ban to the cunts on this forum

Looking at the conversation between the author and Didsbury Dave on Twitter is great. Some top notch tweets there.

Didsbury Dave
@david_lynch88 I bet you are. Boss's office in the morning for you I suspect.

David Lynch
@DidsburyDave No.

Didsbury Dave
@david_lynch88 Best put a nice suit on just in case ;-)

Rob Irvine the MUEN editor in chief is now coming on Twitter defending Lynch, saying he went to the game and was surprised at the number of empty seats. YCMIU

@RobIrvine99
I know I joined the party late, someone has to work, but that for me is what I've been saying
The powers that be knew exactly what they were doing

What a fucking moron, you would have thought by now one of them would have done some research. There were empty seats, particularly in the family stand none of which changes that the fact that the game was sold out. Perhaps they think that alienating City fans is a good idea because they've created a little twitter storm. I suspect it isn't.

FOR THE LAST TIME JUST FUCK IT OFF.

No clicks. No links. Don't buy it. Cancel the delivery if you have it.

PS
SB get another job. You are too good for this bag of shite.

There is an element of deliberately stirring up controversy. It provokes interest in the newspaper.

That said, I agree that this is piss poor journalism.

That's from he tweeted "I think I'm having a beer tonight".

He's rattled to fuck. This was a bad career choice. The men won't hang him out to dry in public but behind the scenes they'll have a stern word I think

can I ask a fairly obvious question?

Have the Club's PR made any response to this

or has SB's fire fighting been purely as a result of city fans justified complaints

for years we have been told that we need to keep these people sweet - well that time is gone IMO

as has been said earlier on this thread MEN needs us more than we need them - its about time they were made to realise that
