This is the kind of crap I am talking about.
No, we won't run it, because we already did, at the time, on April 13, 2013. Here is the link to our article:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/revealed-manchester-uniteds-old-trafford-2592078" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... rd-2592078</a>

Now, if you want to enter an adult debate, try getting your facts straight, and do a bit of research, eh?

I dont see any Red Highlighted Circles, Stuart please be honest with me dont you think that was immature to circle out spaces like a child ?? Your Editor defending this is digging deeper.. I hope Citys PR stand up as that article was one step too far no matter what anyone from the MEN tells me !!

I appreciate that nowadays the MEN has web space to cover as well as column inches and there are extra demands placed on journalistic output. But for anyone within the power structure of the paper, whether that is the web editor, the sports editor or indeed the editor in chief to sign off nonsense like Lynch's article is brainless in the extreme.

It's good of people like Stuart to come on our forum in his free time and try and offer some rebuttal of city supporters accusations of bias and a negative agenda, but you can clearly understand why viewpoints are cultivated in this manner when 'opinion' pieces which have no basis in fact make it to the public domain.

There are hundreds of posters on this forum who write excellent articulated opinion pieces about everything Manchester City, they do it out of their love of the club and their wish to start reasoned debates with other like minded supporters. Why doesn't the MEN recruit a couple of these people to cover our club? They would probably do it for free and it would restore some faith in the paper.

We don't care for people who have no vested interest in our club to be writing their opinions in the MANCHESTER evening news, they belong on Sky or TalkSport. Why not ship them out and get people who actually care in?
Well said - it beggars belief that a scouser was "commissioned" to scrawl this piece - nothing against the good people of Liverpool/Merseyside but can you imagine the Echo running with something like this from a rag for instance? They´d be hitting the fookin streets and the commodities markets would be in turmoil over a huge surge in the price of wax!! The guy has clearly abused his position as a Liverpool fan to have a pop under the guise of being "imaprtial"
Nothing surprises me anymore about the MUEN tbh

Stuart, if you want to come in here using the word "adult", could I ask you to go and talk to your meany mouthed juvenile colleague and ask him if he knows what "adult" means, and then can you have the same conversation with the editor in chief who apparently endorsed the pathetic "story" on social media. Your "newspaper" has been having pops at City for years, pandering to the wider than Manchester united audience - it has made your rag loads of money no doubt, but I now hope it loses you loads. Now really would seem the right time to officially change the name to the muen, even Pigeon wotsit is pissed off about this one. Scandalous

first off,i would like to say sorry for saying your full of shit, got a bit heated, which for me is totally out of character, this article has really hit a nerve with me,simply because imo it is done out of pure spite and is nothing more than I would expect from a childish united fan,ive put up with banter for years and mostly laughed along with it,and every bit of banter has been batted back at them,35 years we won the f.a.cup, the countdown banner,we did our own on that great day,the emptyad weve sold out for approx. 3 years ,yet your paper has seen it fit to try and mock what imo are the most loyal fans in football, once again I am sorry for the underserved abuse at yourself.

Well, Femibob. 1st I said the article was shit, which is it. Then I agreed with Tolmie about his post and stated how good it was. Then I told everyone there isn't an agenda and now i'm watching people get, what the kids say, 'owned' by one another.

:-)
