Manchester North or South

His dad drove the coaches for our away matches...Pathfinder we called him. I've been to more football grounds than I should have with him driving/getting lost/wrong football ground etc etc. Once went to both Nottingham grounds when we were playing Derby, good day out mind!!

He drove the team coach at least for a while didn’t he? Used to drink in The Lloyds in Chorlton?

You're kidding....he was fucking useless, he'd have been better driving a mystery tour because thats what it was like most other saturdays. Can't remember exactly which company he drove for, Godrey Abbot rings a bell but I'm sure Fingland coaches drove the first team. I will stand corrected though as the mists of time have long since settled.

I only mixed with other students when I was at Uni so I’m genuinely unsure how Blue South was. After that, Failsworth more red but Droylsden more Blue.

I went to school near Stockport in the late sixties and in my class it was 75% City with those that were interested in football.. One lad supported Altrincham, and used to wear a lapel badge saying Altrinchampions which amused me.

Leve in the 60's, 70,s 80,s and 90's was a City area, even though it had a large Irish population that supported United. Now Leve being what Leve is, I haven't got a clue if it's a City or United supporting area.
