Yeah I got 5 tickets for £50 from Salford Uni on Friday, cant really argue as my mates can come now as they couldnt really afford the 30 quid for it at full price with Bills ect.

If they were getting tickets to the derby that would be different, but a Thurs night game that we've not even come close to selling out, it's a none-issue.
And before people ask, I've bought my usual ticket in 111 for the standard price, so I've been "ripped off" aswell.

They did it against Norwich in the League Cup afew years ago. I still felt ripped off though after attending perhaps the worst game of football ever.

Perhaps if the student haters on here got to some games there'd be less need for the club to offer students cheap tickets.
