at first I thought that Sheikh Mansour was the best person in 2008 to take us over, compared to the other consortiums looking at us at the time.

Then I thought we had the best owner in British football after he gave Mark Hughes all the money to spend.

Then with the backing for Mancini I thought he was the best owner in European footballer.

With the news yesterday, in which we have the best sponsorship ever, he is clearly the best owner of any sports club throughout the world.

He doesn't seek the limelight, he just honours every thing he said he would do at the very beginning.

It seems like a dream

The very thought would give him shudders..very discreet lot your Al-Nahyans, they mostly prefer to stay in the background thank you very much.

The fact that Sheikh Mansour, Khaldoun etc chose City just makes it more special, not only for us but, I suspect, for them as well.
They could probably have bought the Rags, Arsenal, Liverpool, off the peg success at the Sky/Champions League cartel, clubs whose support have grown complacent and with a breath-takingly arrogant assumption of entitlement.
He has created something new, something never seen before. He has done it with a club where success has been thin on the ground to say the least, for a long time.
These are hugely competent, modern, Ivy League educated, 21st century global businessmen. Light years away from Peter Swales and his handful of TV rental shops in Manchester.
I suspect they have enjoyed the challenge of blowing apart a cosy, self-perpetuating elite.
We as blues at this moment in time are truly blessed.
Sheikh Mansour is our reward for decades of stoic loyalty through the pain. Words cannot express how grateful we are. Thank you, as a City fan and as a Mancunian.

Amen to that. Thank you Sheikh Mansour you are a manchester city hero. and all united fans are complaining. how about when they go to collect their weekly benifits from the tax payer? sheikh mansour has plowed more into our economy from paying tax than proberly most english clubs put together.

The £20m Manchester City Council gets out of the deal has been pretty much overlooked but is an absolute godsend to the authority and the city. This is new income at a time of brutal cuts in Government funding. It is no exaggeration to say that this money will save front line public services and jobs, benefiting tens of thousands of ordinary Mancunians, whoever they support. And that's before you even begin to consider the multiple benefits of the development itself.
Yet the Norwich scarf-clad Rags and FC Cowardly Traitors of Bury freaks try to portray themselves as the socialist conscience of football and the moral guardians of Manchester - the latter bunch of gimps while trying to steamroller through plans for a stadium which is opposed by thousands of local people in Moston.
Deluded hypocrites.
