I've seen a review today which starts: “Manchester – the City Years” is simply the most comprehensive history ever written about the reigning champions of England.
The part I love most is, of course, the bit that says "reigning champions of England" - first time I've written a book on the reigning champions of England.
The review has been written by a City fan for EPLTalk: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.epltalk.com/manchester-the-city-years-%e2%80%94%c2%a0book-review-46958" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.epltalk.com/manchester-the-c ... view-46958</a>
Much appreciated. Apparently today's Backpass magazine has a two page feature on the book launch as well. A bit ironic really as the mag is mostly sold via WHSmith and they've so far refused to stock "Manchester The City Years" - it'll be great if people go in asking for it based on the recommendation of a mag they sell.
Thanks again to everyone who has bought the book and/or written a review. Despite a lot of pushing and promotion work there hasn't yet been a review in a national newspaper, so any mention is appreciated. Thanks.
