Manchester to Newcastle - Train cancellations on Sunday

Trains have been a bit shit for ages with lots of cancelled trains, no change here then.

Northern drivers (Aslef) won't be able to strike.
They have to do the ballot for strike again due to management getting an injunction blocking the result of the first vote. Same happened at TPE.
Northern drivers vote is not now due back until 25th August. So earliest strike day would then be 14 days after that.

Trains look a mess, even checking split ticketing isn't throwing up many results. And that's from now up until September (not checked after that). Very limited tickets and all nearly double what they cost last season. Wtf is going on ??

But remember most importantly do NOT drive or fly.... Let the train take the strain - it is good for the environment
My f++n arse

Yes we took the car Saturday from Cambridgeshire up the A1 then across woodhead which was a pain,but the train would have been £240 for us both so it was a no brainer.
