We are ridiculously short odds to win (1.40), to put it into context Spurs were 1.33 to beat Brighton at home last night! I have layed £1000 against us winning tonight to soften the blow if the unthinkable happens.

I have considered doing similar but not to that level! The lay bet on Betfair is currently 1.53 where are you getting 1.4 from?

I reckon the guys are going to be tired for tonight, if we dont get those early goals I dont think they can take anymore high intensity games. LFC with their dropping out of the cups and getting easy draws in the CL have not been as under stress as us, early goals required then sit back and rest rest rest ready for the next game

I don't think we can complain about our run in any of the cups this season tbh. We didn't play anyone decent in the CL and are still out.

They’ve been utter shite but I’m way less confident about this game than I was about last weeks CL game v spuds. A mate of mine is like that. If he's not at the game, half the time he can't watch it. For the 50th anniversary game he was out and about, got a phone call off his brother at half-time to confirm we were 2-0 up, and still couldn't bring himself to watch the 2nd half.

I think they will make it a bitty game falling over when we breathe on them,they will try to get key players booked early and try and get dinho sent off,ratboy said live on sky once that you do whatever you can to win including trying to get players sent off,Ole has shown he is out of his depth by accusing pep of sending us out to kick them,hopefully they will be too busy with all that whilst our attackers batter them,this will be like playing burnley so good practice

it's going to be a difficult night I reckon these fuckers will play on the break and Rashford and martial will cause us problems and as some have said we looked tired against the spuds at weekend but I still think and hope that we have enough to do these fuckers come on city

I think the tiredness against Spurs was as much to do with us having played them less than 72 hours earlier, and while Spurs created a fair few chances I thought they looked leggy too. United, on the other hand, have had just over a day's less rest than us following the weekend games so if anything, I'd expect tiredness to be more of an issue for them than us. That said, they didn't seem to do much running round at Goodison on Sunday!
