Manchester United Fan Shaun O'Brien Hits back at Man City

Surely the scheme is to sell individual plots and, in doing so handing over ownership of the site to the purchasers jointly. This will make a CPO very difficult to execute. His claims of being the victim in all this and that his stance is not about club politics are a little disingenuous when he calls his website Unite Against City!

cant this guy be done for this.he will be selling a sq ft plot and making a massive profit.isnt it fraud

its not fraud, but it is underhand

city offered him 200k, he said it was worth 2mill....city said prove it, so he intentionally sold the plots at over-inflated prices to prove the point to city.

to add more weight to his over-inflated prices he called it unite against city, thus increasing his market

i am not sure whether he is allowed to sell on his land once a CPO has been issued, but im sure he would have taken legal advice

"The tactics they have used have been disgraceful and I can't understand why. It's not like they're short of a few quid"

So, because we've got a few quid, you expect us to pay over the odds for your premises?

"It's not about football"

The fucking lying ****.

If it wasn't about football why did he put a Man United song and rhetoric like : "this has now become a Red and blue issue.

As a season ticket holding United fan they’ve made it out that because we are red, we won’t sell, just to thwart city’s plans. This isn’t true but thanks for the idea!

If City can use their “friends”, why can’t we use our fellow Red friends to help us out?"

on his website. He deserves all he gets and more for his stunt.

I'm sure he can now be sued for loss of monies off the back of his latest comments?

He has mis-sold the scheme by originally stating it was an investment opportunity for United fans to get back at City.

His comments now state he every intention of selling up to us.
