Manchester United Fan Shaun O'Brien Hits back at Man City

His business is apparently not doing very well & the offer presumably wouldn't cover his liabilities so he's come up with a scheme to make a fortune off rags so he can walk away from his failing business with a pocketful of cash.

I've reported it to the FSA as an unauthorised collective investment scheme but it might actually be legit. City should do the same as the M62 with that idiotic farmer and build round him.

PB are you victim of popular myth? The M62 is built around Stott Hall Farm (The little house on the prairie) due to the geology of the land, it's nothing to do with them not wanting to move. The land is unstable and they couldn't put both carriageways next to one another due to them getting landslips.

I reckon that it could probably be achieved with today's technology.

I think this O'Brien is on a hiding to nothing.....My understanding is that the Compulsory Order will have a value attached to it say £250000 for arguments sake. Actually it's more likely to save 'average market valuation' So if you sell it in one bit 10 bits 1000 bits...still gonna be £250000 total...still a forced sale and still the same outcome. Such a dick these people are, just can't take the fact of us having some well earnt success. F*****k Them all.

"They came to us and said we're going to give you £200,000 for your land. Accept it or we're going to hit you with a CPO - take the money or else

Of course they did............actually im surprised they didn't send a bunch of heavies down to "lean on ya" first. what a pile of shite!

At the end of the day, this rag idiot is holding up the development of a run down area, that will bring jobs to the local community, sports facilities to kids and education facilities for students. Everyone in manchester should be disgusted with this prick, forget red and blue, this is about helping manchester as well. Anyone that has purchased a piece of this land, i hope you wake up one day and realise what an absolute prick you are. This epitomizes united fans, complete morons who think that the world revolves around them

You should post this to his website mate. You've summed it up perfectly.

Just buy the plot he hasn't sold and leave little 1 foot squares untouched for those he has sold. The owners can even put up a fence around their "plots" of land :p

The solution is simple...

Pretty sure you legally only own the rights on land to a certain height(it's certainly like that with depth-you don't own mines under you) so could we just build over him? As most of it has nothing on it we could just put it under a stand or something at the reserve ground
