Manchester United Fan Shaun O'Brien Hits back at Man City

His business is apparently not doing very well & the offer presumably wouldn't cover his liabilities so he's come up with a scheme to make a fortune off rags so he can walk away from his failing business with a pocketful of cash.

I've reported it to the FSA as an unauthorised collective investment scheme but it might actually be legit. City should do the same as the M62 with that idiotic farmer and build round him.

city offered him 200k, he said it was worth 2mill....city said prove it, so he intentionally sold the plots at over-inflated prices to prove the point to city.

i am not sure whether he is allowed to sell on his land once a CPO has been issued, but im sure he would have taken legal advice
but what is the true market value the cpo will only reflect this so it doesnt matter if the turd says it is worth 2 million. has he got the same agent that sold carroll to the dippers

At the end of the day, this rag idiot is holding up the development of a run down area, that will bring jobs to the local community, sports facilities to kids and education facilities for students. Everyone in manchester should be disgusted with this prick, forget red and blue, this is about helping manchester as well. Anyone that has purchased a piece of this land, i hope you wake up one day and realise what an absolute prick you are. This epitomizes united fans, complete morons who think that the world revolves around them

if the CPO is taken to tribunal, then quite rightly he/they will only get the current going rated as per recent land valuations for that area of manchester. so if he sold it at £250 a plot and then the CPO tribunal rule its only £100 per plot, then those who bought will lose.

BUT, this is where i think he's been shrewd to cover himself legally, he has advertised as investment, therefore, investments go up and down, so if a loss is taken, he isnt liable

i would still challenge that though, as at the time of sale, he was aware of the CPO and the possibility of the land being valued at a lot less than he as sold it for

Also, if he's selling it as an investment, doesn't he need some sort of financial qualifications, or at least to have registered the "scheme" with all the relevant authorities? The chances of him fucking this up because, lets face it, he runs a vehicle retrieval company not a financial institution are surely quite high?
 
Amusing that he says he close to 5000.

I bet he hasnt sold more than ten.

I put a few enquiries in just to mess him about and he never even responded.

good point dave, where i live the promoter who sells villas will advertise only the last few remain,even though only 1 has been sold out of say 35

This is the bit that gets my goat, the prick.

I'm sure I read somewhere that with contaminated land now being the responsibility of the landowner that the true worth of the site is actually less than fuck all, it has a negative value, it's worthless. The cost of the cleanup is much much more than the land's value.

Can someone please either put me right or tell me I'm correct/correctish.
