Ten years ago, could you ever conceive a united fan saying something like that about City?

Imagine going back to 2006 and telling that guy (if he was out of short pants of course) that he'd be posting that about little old City. They'd have pissed themselves laughing.

So no, I would never have conceived such a thing happening and we, as a fan base, are truly blessed even though we spent over half our lives being out through the mill supporting shite and having our neighbors win everything.

It’s been an incredible decade following this club, even by its own crazy standards - and what preceded it has made it all the sweeter. I’m glad I’m young enough to (hopefully) enjoy watching a period of dominance, but I’m also glad I’m old enough to have experienced supporting the club for over 40 years and all that entailed. I think my son feels like he’s missed out when I talk about the 1998/9 season.
