I can't help but feel this will be similar to when Arsenal played them on Sunday.

Dominate chances and possession but get beat 2 or 3 - 1 with them having just 3 shots, all of which were in target.

I think we struggle against physicality and long balls and they are the masters of it.

If we turn up like Chelsea we can beat them easily, however I think the efforts of the past few months are showing so I can't see that kind of performance.

I would take a draw now with the points difference and stuff them at our place next year.

Just done my combined team on the BBC website.

Tend to agree. A lot of people seem to think all we have to do is turn up to collect the points. Maybe a month or six weeks ago that may have been true but the recent form of both teams suggests we may struggle. Anyway the 18 points up for grabs after Sunday up until the New Year will be equally important. Also the Red dippers in January is another big one on the horizon. Every point is vital.

Well, will Pep or Peg try to outfox the other?

As our strikers aren't at their best anyway and Pogba being out,
I wonder if Pep could leave a striker out and overload midfield by Gündogan.

Something like:

...................Ederson
Walker.....Komps.....Ota......Delph
....................Dinho..............
........Kdb.....Gündogan....David....
..........Sterling..........Sané.........

Surely it's no answer to their main threat being set pieces.

But I think we will handle long balls well
and might be even more dangerous on the break.
We even would have enough goal threat on the pitch.

Make them mad by total control in possession
and when defending drop a bit deeper to create space for a quick break.

Just a thought, not really convinced though.

Mangala up front for me. Guy just needs a chance. Didn’t work out for him in defence but I reckon this is the game to prove himself on the offensive. Whoop!

He's like Frank Bruno but without the mobility. So it's a yes from me.
