Manchester's best curry?

Sad to see what happened to the old Curry Mile in Rusholme.

None existent these days. Mostly shisha bars, crap takeaways and cheap shops these days with a very unwelcoming air about it (last time I went I had fireworks fired at me by some local cunts).

I never hear of anyone going for a curry down there anymore. I used to go regularly.

Went there after a midweek game last season (Forest) and it was decent (can’t remember the name of the place) but definitely an oasis in a desert. Like you say it’s gone right downhill. Changes in student habitat and lifestyle must have played its part. Rents are OTT there too which has potentially fuelled a race to the bottom. Maine Road closing won’t have helped either.
