Mancini: Are you an 'inner' or an 'outer'?

In - one more season to win the PL again & get out the group stages of the CL. If these are not achieved then time to change.. But who? Klopp is the only one for me.

I'm leaning towards outer. I love Mancini and what's he's done for the club but I think he may have run his coarse. Somethin is really off in the clubhouse this year. Too many guys have had a poor season and looked disinterested too often. If it was 1 or 2 players then you can calk it up to those players. But there have been way too many for it not to be something more than just an off year. Too many players have fallen out with him. Don't like how he rips them in the media either. I just think the team doesn't beelieve in him anymore and if that's the case, no matter how successful he's been he would have to go. Just like Mourinho has lost his club and he has to go. Yes we finished second but 15 points of second isn't being competitive for the league and to only be 7 points ahead of Arsenal who has been awful for most of the season bothers me. The fact that we have only realy played well in a handful of games this year isn't acceptable. To not get a single win in CL this year was embarising. We got played off the pitch in nearly every game.

Good post, well except 90℅ of it is wrong.

Please explain.

bit of both, the success he has brought has been brilliant, sometimes he tactically gets things spot on but then others he gets it horribly wrong, (kolarov playing right wing)then theres the champions league, not getting through the groups and playing in such poor fashion is what worries me. not to mention a 15 point gap behind united.

I still think he deserves another season with the board fully behind him and getting the signings that he wants, but we have to improve in europe.

I'm a 100% "inner" on this one.

I was far too young to remember the halcion days of the Joe Mercer winning teams in the late 60's early 70's, so it seems foolish to throw away a manager who has started to bring us the same kind of success all over again.

I too share the disappointments of the Chumps League failures, but we will improve given time and the right players in the squad.

Mancini deserves at least one more year, with the players he wants to sign, to try to win the title again and hopefully get out of the group stage of the Chumps league. These I suspect will be the board/owners target for next year, if he fails, then I strongly suspect Mancini would willingly go anyway!

And I will remain grateful to him for bringing some of the happiest moments of my life as a City supporter!
