Mancini: Are you an 'inner' or an 'outer'?

IN...

who do we blame for not holding onto the title this season i cant point fingers at mancini purely on the facts that are for all to see.

1.he did not get the players he wanted for this current season mainly RVP and we can see what he has done this season to prove that..yaya and barry have worked there socks off this season but there was rarely any strength in depth to in the middle to help when needed again didn't get the players he needed.

2.the strikers we have should have stepped up and produced what they achieved last season and more.

i feel the stone has been set now for next season with the introduction of Soriano and Begiristain for mancini to step everything up a notch and hopefully help to retain the title and produce a better champions league campaign.

the only fault i will say i have had with mancini this season was his slight persistence to get the 3-5-1-1 or 3-5-2 system to work on a occasions but in no way do i think it has contributed to losing the league or faltering in the group stages of the champions league.

the one thing piss can did across the road was that if they were having a bad season in the premiership or champions league he would make sure his team came out of the season with a trophy whether that be the league cup or fa cup and so far that has what mancini has done baring we don't lose to wigan :)

this all is just my opinion but one i believe in to be close to the mark...in all honesty i cant say for all my years i have been as comfortable as i am now in having mancini as our manager and long may it continue.

If we want stability, then in undoubtedly.
If we want progress in the CL, then out unfortunately. I don't think Bob is tactically cute enough to compete with Europe's elite.

are you serious?

the group we had no English team would have progressed out of that and even the best managers can struggle in the Champions league just look at Barca and Real madrid

It doesn't matter who we have as manager it will take some years to progress in the fixed chumps league

I for one am very happy with Domestic success and don't care about Chumps league
Mancini is turning into our best ever manager and if he can keep us in top two in league and win a domestic cup or two I think anyone who wants more needs to give their fucking head a wobble!

pity some people were not as quick to jump on that clown Hughes the people who defended him on this forum were a disgrace as are the people who are getting on Mancini's back we are not and never should be like the rags but that is what some posters on here sound like

Mancini is not perfect but I don't think anyone else could do a better job he has earnt the backing of all City fans and even if we have a Trophy less year he deserves to be given another couple of years

the anti Mancini threads on this forum are embarrassing to say the least

your last line says it all.

Bob, at what stage did you become an 'inner'? As I know you weren't always! Infact you queried him at his 'fans seminar' if I recall

Considering Mancini is in a constant battle with the pro rag media and corrupt establishment hence the reason this thread even exists he is doing a great job.

Mancini is the most successful PL manager since he's been here so I think the outers need to have a word with themselves or get back on their xbox's.

Couldn't agree more, well said Sire

The post from Kiam is bang on the money.

I think he should go and that's my opinion and I have my reasons for this opinion. Plus, Jupp Heynkes is available. We should grab him and offer him a 3 year contract. He has the know how. He can manage super stars. Go n get him and we become world beaters. Simples!

Blue Moon's very own Prestwich Blue has written this ace piece explaining the divisive characteristics and management of the Bobster.

Thoughts?

Inner , but mindful of the last sentence in the last paragraph .

i did mate, if you were there you'll remember he saud wait and see when i have ny own players. his reply came to my question that despite having a very decent forward line why did he play such a negative way. to his credit he got the players in he wanted and despite my misgivings he did exactly as promised. we started playing quick swashbuckling football that won us the cup then the title. he still does some rotation that i find baffling but he has earned respect and we have to take him as he is.
his biggest flaw nowadays is his man management but again we find ourselves in a wembley final. i'll take that.

ps. i have seen so much change at city over the best part of 50 years, not always for the best. lets have some stabilty for a change, it may just be for the best. it has done our neighbours no harm.

Yawn

These threads are getting tiresome now.

Seems to be the same posters popping up on various threads (some with even the most tenuous connection to Mancini - if any at all) and agitating for a response.

Same arguments are repeated ad infinitum all over Bluemoon.

Biggest inner on the forum. And fuck Jose
''the hard-luck story resonated, bolstered by the nights of magic along the way.'' Hard luck story at chelsea, are you kidding me?

''his feats at Inter when, with a limited side [see below, who isn't world class?] and a remarkable game-plan'' [your reffering to the originality of playing practically 11 defenders the whole game?]

Júlio César, Maicon, Lúcio, Samuel,L Chivu, Zanetti (c) Cambiasso,Wesley Sneijder,Samuel Eto'o,Milito,Pandev, materazzi, stankovic, cordoba, toldo, muntari, balotelli

Now to discuss mourinho instead of rediculous journalism,
porto league success: 1984–85, 1985–86, 1987–88, 1989–90, 1991–92, 1992–93, 1994–95, 1995–96, 1996–97, 1997–98, 1998–99, 2002–03, 2003–04, 2005–06, 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2011–12, so yeah, every single year. They won the champions league in a mighty year they had to overcome the frightful loco Moscow an Monaco.

He went to an already vastly luxurously spent chelsea squad that spent 151m just the season before. He then spent 142m the following season, he spent 360m there. He then spent 136m at Inter, whose competition were relegated or deducted league points due to cheating an bribery. He jumped ship as they ran into financial instability due to the spending. then at his first season at Madrid he spent 227m, he totalled 386m there. Now i will be the first to agree he is a brilliant coach, but let us be honest, has he ever actually proven himself, has he ever managed at a club where he could not simply buy his way to success, he must be the only coach in history that has been so fortunate, anybody that says money doesn't 'almost' guarantee success, is kidding themself. Perhaps the world press see him for what he is, and more importantly value the damage he causes by his revolting actions bringing the sport into dispute, where the english press see new weekly stories to write about regardless of damage to the sport. As much as you'd hope, there is no chance he is going to chelsea, you can wet the bed as much as you want and write it up every day but it doesn't change fantasy.

breakdown of previous 3 club spends: 42 81 83 54-53 83 - 227 82 48 29
