Mancini 'arrogant and vain'

Fuck me, the kitman tweets and suddenly we're wrapped up in the murky world of conspiracy and spin.
Could someone show me an example of the club putting out negative info to smear Mancini?

Comments from several journos have suggested that is the case. And there is a remarkable similarity in some of the anti Mancini pieces over the last few days suggesting they come from the same source.

Could you link me to these similar comments? I've not looked at the gutter press, or any other type for that matter, since Sunday.

Stuart Brennan when interviewed on TS stated "there is more to come from the club on this." after mentioning about how things were behind the scenes.

Sean Custis on SSN stated "the club are letting it be known what it was like under Mancini".

Not got the links but there's two examples off the top of my head.

It's a veiled threat to Mancini etc to keep schtum and not disrespect the Sheikh or they'll destroy him.

Would he not of signed some confidentiality agreement as part of his pay off?

It always comes out in the wash.

They've taken him to the cleaners.

That's a bold statement.

He was sacked rather than it being by mutual agreement so unless there was something in his contract then I doubt it. And even if there was, there are all sorts of unattributed ways of getting the word out.

The main objective now is to repair any perceived damage to Abu Dhabi and move the agenda away from Mancini. The expansion announcement was brought forward as that wasn't due for a couple of weeks at least.

Look - he is categorically NOT being sacked I can assure you of that. But unless something dramatic happens then it looks like he won't be here next season.
Mancini hasn't said a word since, yet articles keep appearing.

More than likey it's not a threat by the club but more a poor attempt to shift the focus on the club onto something other than their handling of the situation, but like I said previously these leaks will only serve as a contrast as to whether his dismissal was fair.

Classy.

The bloke came in, did his job to the best of his ability, achieved some great things and then got the sack.

Clubs prerogative to do that, but if we need to slaughter former employees through "mates in the press", and issue veiled threats just in case he was thinking of making a comment then that's a shocking way for an organisation to behave.
