Why can't they just sack him? Do we have to wait for a replacement?

I think it would be highly disrespectful to the supporters and to Mancini himself to just remove him now. What they should do is amicably find a severance package, then put a joint statement on the OS saying that these are Mancini's last two games in charge and lets use them to wish him all the best and thank him for everything he's done for the club.

If they weren't going to sack him as soon as they'd decided he was no longer the guy, then they should find a way to do this where the supporters are happy and Mancini is treated with some respect publicly for the his achievements, irrespective of what the private feelings of the club are.

a bit late for that lol

Quite ... the level of denial is reaching epic proportions. What was it mutley said the other day - we should be worried about Bobby walking away and not us firing him. Arf.

This is a fuck up by City for not getting this done quickly and quietly, but as Brennan says, when the truth finally begins to filter out about Mancini and his time at City, nobody will be surprised he was sacked and i suspect even his most ardent supporters will acknowledge him going was best for the long term future of the club.

Now fucking get over with already City. I've got a thread about "bunting" just for Bob Kowalski and a few others ready to go!
Ooooo! You are awful; but I like you!

Showing your age there mate.

I know fuck all, but I guarantee you I know more than Stuart Brennan.

So care to enlighten us all the exact facts on this sad and sorry escapade ?

Brennan has no inside line to the club. He has a player contact. The players know as much about what is going on as we do.

Decisions will be made in Abu Dhabi and I'm pretty sure that it's currently seista time over there.

The players have known this was coming for a while now. This won't be a shock or disappointment to them.

Really?

Clearly there must be divisions in the playing ranks aswell.

For all that he is done in such a short space of time, he deserves a major send off. But this is city and we will just embarrass ourselves.

Cant see it mate tbh, the last thing we need is a fan versus the board scenario played out on national tv-you can see the headlines now on Monday morning
