Mancini Breaking News Part 4

I said before this has shades of the Mourinho Chelsea saga. City will get some new managers win a few trophies, and sack a few. In five years the fans will be singing for Mancini and one day he'll be back, he'll have a few trophies with him.

Can i ask a question. For all those that wanted Mancini out and Mourinho in, will you be happy with Pelligrini instead ?

For me, yes. Any top professional who is more interested in coaching than continuing to build a personal fiefdom with someone else's money would work for me.

I think Mancini and City will benefit from leaving. We got some good results under Mancini - but we had to catch lightning in a bottle to do it. I don't see evidence of steady, organic progression. I believe our success under Mancini was through buying players at their prime and praying they don't regress. And frankly, catching other teams on down years. The FA Cup win would have masked the rot, but there's no hiding it now. Mancini could do well in a new start with a team, but not my team.

So if players like Kompany , silva , Kun turn round and ask for a transfer as they don't get on with bob

who goes bob or the players

which forces certain peoples hands
The players go.

The day the players start dictating the manager, is the day we become Chelsea.
NO player (or manager) is bigger than the club.

One of the reasons for United's success is that the players KNEW who was boss. Rightly or wrongly, what Ferguson said was gospel.
Some call it bullying, and there's a good case for that. Others call it firm leadership, and there's an equally good case for that.
But when you count their trophies... I think I'd opt for a 'firm leader' every day of the week.
