I don't disagree with the sentiment, but it's stuff like this that other fans will use to laugh at us when it doesn't happen....just like many did with rag cafe posters upset about Moyes.

De Boer's managerial career has gotten off to an impressive start, he is much like the Dutch Guardiola. But I think Pellegrini is a better choice for now, he is very savvy in Europe (which is a big priority for us) and has fantastic tactical prowess with modern ideas despite his age (some might say he's entering his managerial prime at 59). De Boer will probably be considered down the line.

So why did he bomb out of the CL with Real Madrid if he's great in Europe? Bad luck follows him everywhere, we don't need that.

He has explained why in interviews. He was thrown big name players when he wanted to build a team. He wanted players like Silva and Cazorla instead of Kaka. At clubs where he has been allowed to build a proper team as opposed to a collection of superstars, he has reached the last 4 (Villarreal) and last 8 (Malaga - should have been last 4)... hardly bad luck that, is it?

I don't need any instruction on it thanks!

In fact, the only bollocks seems to be from you.

You clearly know nothing about Vicky Kloss that's for sure.

You make her sound like a bobby pounding the beat!

She is more than qualified and like I state, she is not a press officer.

She is responsible for corporate communications and has been fast-tracked up the ladder by Abu Dhabi, as a result of her work.

Kloss is not the go to person these days for the press.
What bollocks am I talking? I know she is not the press officer. I assume the press officer reports to her, so she is still ultimately responsible. Mancini seems to think she had the authority to come out and defend him, but seemingly you know better than him? Strange. Maybe you can find an 80s pop Youtube video to explain how that works?

I think perhaps you do need instruction on how PR works in 2013. To suggest there "wasn't time because they were all hurrying round in the team hotel on the morning of the Cup Final" shows a staggering naivety of the modern digital media world.

It would have taken seconds to do a 2 line backing of Mancini on the clubs official Twitter / website. That would then be reported as news on SSN, all the sports radio, online papers, social media etc within minutes. Dramatically altering the mood of fans, players and staff.

Even if Mancini is getting sacked, which seems certain, the fact the club didn't come out back the manager on Saturday was a monumental mistake.

So, as opposed to bragging how ITK you are, or how great Vicky Kloss is, actually address the points I've made if you think they are bollocks.

I've never heard him 'brag about how ITK he is'

And I know you don't like other people's opinions, but for what it's worth, I think you're a dick.

No... he's not a dick. He's a blue like most of us on here.

I also agree with him regarding the PR disaster; and I'm certainly no dick! He's right, they could have nailed this friday night, without lying or looking stupid in the following days/weeks.

A 2 line statement would have been sufficient. They chose to ignore it for some reason. Stupidity of the highest fucking magnitude.

I know that Vicky is non confrontational and prefers the softly softly apporach to get the press onside... This approach has failed!

Whatever your feelings about the manager, he has been hung out to dry and deserved better!

Re: Mancini Breaking News Part 4

I think the club haven't helped themselves in this situation.

There should have been a statement on Saturday. Even if it said, "We will discuss this at the end of the season, no decision will be made before then." The uncertainty didn't help one bit.

Every club who is sacking a manager speaks to other managers before pulling the trigger. We've seen it this season with how quickly Benitez, Pochettino and Redknapp have been appointed.

I think Mancini's man management is poor and that's the main reason for him leaving.

Players like Nasri, Silva and Yaya aren't working hard enough off the ball. I just think the players have lost respect for Mancini.

I don't like the man, but you could see every player working hard for Sir Alex Ferguson. I don't see that under Mancini.

Although Mancini has done very well and brought trophies to the club, I don't think he is the only man capable of doing that with our finances. If the club don't like his style and feel the club would be better and more successful with another manager, I'm behind that.

I don't think Mancini is getting the best out of some world class football players and the way he has criticised Manchester City players and staff (Marwood, Kloss) is unacceptable.

I'm a Manchester City supporter, not a Roberto Mancini supporter.

That's the problem only if you care what someone else will think about you.

To coin a phrase "WHAT AN ABSOLUTE LOAD OF BOLLOCKS"
Have you seen a copy of her contract stipulating her role etc.
You really hate her for some unknown reason.Perhaps your hatred is related to more of a Police nature than anything else.
I take it that letter hasn`t been forthcoming from you to her or an e-mail ??
Bbbbbbbbbbwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
I think you've misunderstood the post about sending the club a letter. Someone suggested that was a good way of informing the club of my opinion that they should back the manager on Saturday morning. I replied back saying thanks for the advice, but I don't think the letter would arrive in time. I was taking the piss out of them, and seemingly, you.

I have got no hatred for Vicky Kloss, I don't know her to hate her. What I hate is that the whole day of the FA Cup final was overshadowed because this wasn't dealt with. The fans mood and staff and players performance was affected because of the press, and it could have been so easily dealt with.

I have not seen her contract, as I'm sure you haven't. Whoever is ultimately responsible for the club not backing the manager on Saturday morning is at fault. I assume as Director of Comminications she is ultimately responsible. Perhaps she was overruled, perhaps it was the Sheik's ultimate decision to say nothing. Whoever ultimately made the decision was completely wrong, and the performance on Saturday proved that.
We have no way of linking the performance to the rumours

Far more likely to have upset the players was the dropping of Pants
I disagree in the strongest possible terms.

Re: Mancini Breaking News Part 4

its funny reading some of the conjecture, claim and counter claim on here when none of us know the circumstances surrounding the apparent dismissal of mancini.....because our beloved club have declined to comment...marvellous, makes me feel 'Together' or however the marketing nonsense goes... oh forgot the hash tag.

I think as the truth of the matter emerges over the next few weeks and undoubtedly overshadows our close season preparations, we should all be asking ourselves where this club of ours is heading. Whether you agree with the dismissal or not, I'm sure you don't agree with the manner in which it has thus far been handled; it disrespects the manager but more importantly us, the fans.

A few lines on the club website would make us all as fans feel better about the situation, after all we are shareholders in some respects and the longer the silence continues, the more disillusioned we will become particularly if it follows that the media were right all along..

That video clip is old, it has been used numerous times on SSN , it's not from today, think it's from last autumn, possibly some Champions League tie.
