How the fuck does something come out of the club saying "He will be sacked but not today"?

Seriously, all of this is fucking ridiculous. There must be some useless ***** behind the scenes at our club.

It's not come out of the club. It's meeja speculation.

Of course this has come from someone in the club. I have no idea who, but it's a complete cluster fuck.
City must be negotiating his pay off.

You just know the season ticket renewal info is in the post ready to land on Monday to capitalise on the good feeling generated over the weekend.

Not sure how a club run by so many expensive executives can preside over a fiasco like the one we are witnessing.

Appointing a manager called Manuel just takes us one step closer to Fawlty Towers.

Can't thank Mancini enough for all he's done for us but you have to feel that this season there have been far too many bad displays, he hasn't been able to motivate the team since winning the league last year!

Roberto Mancini is a City legend and deserves more respect

fucking stinks

Swales would have been proud of the board for the shambolic way they have gone about this the fucking amateurs

Unfortunately I think the momentum of the Mancini out rumours are too strong I think he'll be gone.

Why we would then go out and get a 60 year old Malaga Madrid failure is beyond me Malaga are nowhere in La Liga.

If we get Pelegrini then I believe we will have a weaker manager than the rags with Moyes.

Unbelievable.

Do some research on Malaga and the state they are currently in, he is (has) working miracles, Laliga aside they have just been knocked out of Europe by Dortmund to an offside injury time goal, remember Dortmund, the team that gave us a footballing lesson this season.

With the greatest respect you have no idea who I've spoken to. But I do know how to use punctuation properly.

With no great respect to you he is allowed his opinion too, and in terms of your comment about using punctuation properly, what has that got to do with a football forum? You may have had a posh education for all I know, but please lay off with the grammar police rubbish, it is pompous and unwarranted in the extreme.

Don't worry about it fella. PB is a truly laughable character who uses faux- academic language and a supercilious air to try and lend credibility to his fantasy posts. The chap is a self confessed liar when it comes to many of his views on here. I suspect Colin might well be a fairly decent chap in real life but his PB mod persona is at least two thirds bollocks.

I'm pretty sure he missed a comma or a semi-colon out in his grammar-insult-thingy, too. Between 'respect' and 'you.' I'm no expert though :)

Nah, I like PB, though. I respect everything he has to say. Just thought I'd point that irony out.

What the fuck?

ROBERTO MANCINI WAS THE 4TH LONGEST SERVING MANAGER IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE. WE ARE NOT LIKE CHELSEA FOR SACKING A MANAGER AFTER 4 YEARS.

Understand?

We have to begin to build for the long term, and from what I can see Mancini has no interest in that. We don't give youth a chance, and performances this season have not been up to scratch, even in games we've won, look at Wigan at home as an example. Europe again was embarrassing, yes Dortmund and Madrid got to the final and semis respectively, but again during all 6 group games we never looked 'up for it'.

The summer is not an excuse for me, yes United got RVP and that changed things but they have the same team as last year for the most part, and you can look at our players for not performing at the same level as they did last year, but the team spirit has all but evaporated, there have been countless games where we just have not been at the races, not shown that desire, that hunger, that will to win that we did last season. Motivation and spirit has to come from the manager first, and the way in which he criticises players constantly in the media cannot make him a popular figure in the dressing room.

Mancini is a City legend, I do not discredit that, but I do feel the time is right for a change, if we want to look toward the medium to long term future.
