Why the fuck wasn't this just announced instead of letting journo's leak it all?

So you'd have preferred us to announce in the week before the cup final that we were sacking the manager who would lead us out at the cup final, in favour of a manager who hasn't actually signed for us yet?

Unfortunately I think the momentum of the Mancini out rumours are too strong I think he'll be gone.

Why we would then go out and get a 60 year old Malaga Madrid failure is beyond me Malaga are nowhere in La Liga.

If we get Pelegrini then I believe we will have a weaker manager than the rags with Moyes.

Unbelievable.

Thats ridiculous, Mancini was fantastic for our development, the foundations will now be put in place for impending european success - MP is a top level coach who will be given the freedom to express his style - think the first 6 months of the season winning campaign on a consistent basis!

so let's get it right, he is that good that he has got a team who is in 6th place in La Liga, SIXTH?! So on the one hand he is lauded for getting his team into a CL quarter final, and nearly into a semi final, yet he is only able to get 6th place in a league which is not massively strong beneath the usual top 2 - have I got this right?

Yes with a team that are banned from Europe next season and havent been paid properly for almost the whole season

How the fuck does something come out of the club saying "He will be sacked but not today"?

Seriously, all of this is fucking ridiculous. There must be some useless ***** behind the scenes at our club.

Yep. Clearly we had everything planned to do this end of season all nice and neat then the shit hit the fan because we couldn't keep a lid on negotiations, although that was all Barca's fault as quite clearly they had someone sit in on negotiations ready to leak the news - shame no one noticed the dodgy bloke with a fake moustache sitting in the corner - so the day of the cup final we have a media shitstorm with everyone including the coach driver wondering if Roberto is on his way out. We then lose the cup final and 24 hours later we get confirmation that Roberto will be sacked, definitely, maybe tomorrow for a guy we first approached back in February leaving us with our fingers up our arses and wondering why everything smells of fudge..

..you know what we need. We need a PR Plan B because Plan A is pants.

Looks like we are the new Chelsea or is it typical City cant quite make my mind up yet!!!!
What the fuck?

ROBERTO MANCINI WAS THE 4TH LONGEST SERVING MANAGER IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE. WE ARE NOT LIKE CHELSEA FOR SACKING A MANAGER AFTER 4 YEARS.

Understand?

They think that by saying it enough times it will make it true.

Bob has had a very good innings.

so the club have succumbed to the media , the two Spanish executives from Barcelona have got a lot to answer for , how they have let this situation be played out in the public domain is a disgrace. If it is true and Mancini is history , then if this pelegrini guy fails , they two Spanish waiters should also lose their jobs. They have done nothing to support Roberto since they arrived , in fact they have done the opposite and undermined him from day one , I would rather see these two spanish clowns leave than Roberto .
Let me say it again. The one person to blame for this is Mancini. He's fucked up in Europe, his interpersonal skills are zero and there have been at least two threats to resign since he signed his new contract. He's the boy who cried wolf and the wolf has just gone for his throat.

where is the proof that mancini threatened to resign ? the fucking daily mirror or daily mail ? don't believe the rag driven media , I don't think for one minute that mancini threatened to resign , that is a load of bollocks , But you are correct about his man management,it leaves a lot to be desired , criticising players in the press and on TV is not good management , Do yourself favour don't believe the rumours the gutter press write about city , all their information comes from a "source" from inside the club , or in other words they are a load of shit stirring lying bastards.

Roberto Mancini is a City legend and deserves more respect

fucking stinks

Swales would have been proud of the board for the shambolic way they have gone about this the fucking amateurs

Have a think about how Mancini was appointed. It's come back to bite him in the arse.

there is a key difference - hughes was given 18 months and a quarter of a billion pounds, and achieved nothing - we were going nowhere under him, we have been somewhere special under Bobby, and do not ever forget that

1. Pep had no trophy to his name before he was made the manager of Barcelona , same can be said about Laudrup , Even Di Matteo( remember him ? An inexperienced manager who gave Chelsea the UCL and FA CUP in his first season )

2.I think this whole "no prem experience" line is getting boring now . Di matteo had no prem experience and well lets just say he did what Mou couldn't do in Chelsea.

3. Keep calm , the Spanish folks know what they are doing .

you dont expect a young manager to have won anything but he is 60 he should have won something by now,no?

For once Karen I agree with you.

only once,i will have to try harder :)

Gutted, all laughing at united with moyes the other day yet we've ended up with a manager who's won fuck all and no prem experience. Fuck off city, laughing stock again. We are all presuming these spanish blokes are going to do the business, but nothing is guaranteed. What a shit end to the season.

Well if Pellegrini had the cash to splash like Mancini then i believe he would have had dozens of trophies to his name.
