Yipeeee!

I thank him for his efforts but there's no sentiment allowed with the sums of money involved here, results gained from players technical ability papered over the fact that our team hasn't evolved for the last two seasons.

The only way is up now, can't wait to see what our players really are capable of!

That's the spirit . Mr Pellegrini , Welcome to the city of Manchester. Time to become a legend.

Pair of twats...

come on, don't be like that

So to recap. 50 odd pages of Mancini 'breaking news' with no actual breaking news and Pep learnt English last week to work for City in 2 years time which means that we are discussing the sacking of the new man before he's even been appointed which has got to be a City record. Marvellous.
Fuckin Lol...... Ha ha ha ha :-)

Will be absolutely gutted if all of this is true. Mancini has delivered things to this football club that I never thought would happen in my life. City were, as someone put before, a parody of their former self. The owners saved us from the face of administration and eventually appointed a manager that would deliver our first trophy in 35 years, a unforgettable derby day win at the swamp, 5 trips to wembley in 2 years, a roller coaster that will never be beaten, and of course, the greatest day of my life last may. I cannot believe the chairman is looking at anyone else other than Mancini as the future of Manchester City, although I don't know if I'm feeling this way due to love for Mancini and what he's done for us, rather than what is best for the club. I think the club needs to keep their feet on the ground a bit, and stop thinking like Chelsea. One season without a trophy is nothing to us, we suffered 35 of them. They say they want to base this club around the fans for all of their loyalty over the years, yet are choosing to ignore the fact that Mancini's name rings around the Etihad week in week out, simply because (apart from a few) the fans want him to stay. He is the man for the job, please don't sack him City, I thought we were long past this.

This, in my humble opinion, is the post of the thread.

We had 35 years of mediocrity, I am grateful for everything that the Sheikh has done but if they say they want to please the fans please do not sack Mr Mancini.

And for those who say support the club not an individual, I DO support the club but that doesn't mean that I have to agree with everything that they do. I have a mind of my own and I support Manchester City and Mancini.
Some fans do want him out though Eccles so which fans are right?

Gutted, all laughing at united with moyes the other day yet we've ended up with a manager who's won fuck all and no prem experience. Fuck off city, laughing stock again. We are all presuming these spanish blokes are going to do the business, but nothing is guaranteed. What a shit end to the season.

Prestwich Blue saying Pep will Fook Munich off in a couple of years and come here

unless hes spoken personally to Pep, which i doubt how would he know that.
With the greatest respect you have no idea who I've spoken to. But I do know how to use punctuation properly.

its a forum, didnt know spelling/punctuation was so important :)

To sum up another chapter in the clubs history.

On the day Fergie lifts the title with the whole world watching, we sack our second most successful Manager

Regardless of the rights and wrongs of sacking Mancini, once again our owners and board handle the situation appallingly.

What do you want the club to do?

I have no issue with the club. They didn't circulate the rumours about Mancini leaving during the week. He made his bed with his comment yesterday. He could have just shut his mouth. Again he showed bad judgement.

I could give a toss about looking bad versus united. Everyone not a City fan hates us no matter what we do so f em all.

Perfect day to bury bad news, while the rag media are having their wankfest, this news won't even make the back page.

He's lost the dressing room and can anyone envisage a situation where an employee slags the senior management team as much as he has and still remain in a job. Perhaps his digs at the owners yesterday was his way of telling them to fook off. I support City and this might add some sparkle to the remainder of what has been an uninspiring season performance wise, with some performances akin to Stuart Pearce being in charge.

1.02 on betfair to go is enough confirmation for me.

Very ambivalent about the whole deal ....
I'm excited about the fresh start going into next season, tinged with regret about the way its played out for Bobby .... if he has been pushed, again we don't come out of this looking like the well run machine of a club we ought to be, do we ?
