Mancini Breaking News

I hope we get behind this new guy if he comes in, it would be embarrassing if he gets booed by sections of the crowd. Thanks to Bobby for his work over the last 3 years but he has shot himself in the foot this season with the jip he's been giving to some very popular City players, I suspect his perceived lack of man management skills are as much to blame for him going as the disappointing on field performances. Plus some of the big spending on players who have just not been good enough, Dzeko, Garcia etc possibly mean he can't be trusted with this summers budget?

Well, Malaga game finished 0-0.
They do seem to get players in the box, and get crosses in.
Not all tippy tappy around the edge of the box.

We'll see.

They certainly rate him dont they?

It's a similar story on pretty much every other forum as well. None of them rate Mancini, all of them rate Pellegrini.
And the moment he gets here, they won't rate Pellegrini either. Keep in mind that RAWK thinks Benitez is the best manager alive.
'Just a few malcontents'

Bwahahahahahaha

I have always been a Mancini 'inner' but after yesterdays debacle it's clear that something had to give, Mancini took us to the next level but his style of management will always be short term.
I believe we will move on from this, be invigorated and next year we will go and reclaim our premiership title...

I too felt that Mancini should be given another season, at least, but after his terrible treatment of Pantilimon yesterday - after stating categorically hat he would play in the final - I have changed my mind.

I always thought RM was a man of honour, but he has gone down considerably in my eyes.

I've always seen him as a vindictive man. Overall a nice fellow unless you got on his bad side. Once on, never off.

Tevez's substitution yesterday looked like payback for Munich.

To me it was just another strike in a long list of man management mistakes. Gross overreaction to Costel's nothing statement
Agree with that, Tevez is always the first player to be replaced.

If Pellegrini does come in I hope his man management skills are better than Mancini's and he is more supportive of his players (at least publicly). I read somewhere Bobby did a u turn on Pantilimon because of his public statements about the need to leave City at the end of the season. Apparently he did not want somebody playing in the final who's not committed to the club. I can understand that to an extent but I'm sure some would want to draw parallel's with the re-integration of Tevez into the team last season.
