I can't see a footballing reason for City's bosses dissatisfaction with Mancini. 3rd FA Cup, League Title and runners up and FA Cup finalists. The latter in a season when City's striking force was not fit for purpose. Whether that's Mancini's fault I am not sure.

If this is happening,and it is pellegrini, which it clearly is, it's a decision that has been made people who have been involved in football inside out for a number of years, and were around at Barca for some of their most successful years.

Though on here I have questioned Mancini, I always said only move for a genuine upgrade. I have always supported him, and the team at the games. No point in making comments about Malaga if he does come- you support the club, not just Mancini.

We did a market in the last week. We didn’t have any other players. We chose these players because we didn’t move very quickly last year. We moved in the last week of August. We didn’t have these players in pre-season.

Did you sign those players because they were the only ones left?

The players that we took, I decided to take these players. But you need to move in February, March, April, May. August is difficult because you don’t have these players in pre-season.

Would love to know what Jack is thinking reading about this. We bought these players because it was the last week. Alright, that may be true, but ffs don't say it publicly.

It's human nature to defend your own, but maybe there are grounds for change. Why would the owner and management lose confidence in Mancini without good reason.....there must be an explanation. I doubt we'll ever know
