Anyone speak Spanish?!

Pellegrini:"El equipo respondió en cuanto a trabajo e intensidad"

"Sumar un punto ante un rival directo era importante, tendremos que cerrar la clasificación en casa ante el Deportivo"

Is there last game against Deportivo by any chance?

"No he hablado absolutamente con nadie, son todo rumores. Veremos en adelante lo que pasa. Pensamos en Europa"

No he hablado absolutamente con nadie, son todo rumores. Veremos en adelante lo que pasa. Pensamos en Europa

I haven't spoken to anyone, they are all rumors. We will see what will happen. We think in Europe (not sure what he means there)

Pellegrini: "Later we will see what happens. We still believe in European qualification". His usual response

Not up to Pellegrini to confirm any deal, both parties probably didn't want this to come out before the end of the season. Just guessing.

Pellegrini: "I can disprove that A TODAY will be coach of City"

Pellegrini explains that he has a date with Malaga agreed to talk to other clubs. It is your limit

Pellegrini. "I hope these 15 days have planned the future." He says there will be meetings with shatat.

'Just a few malcontents'

Bwahahahahahaha
That kept pressing the story on FA Cup final eve yes. Don't worry, Dave. We all got to see you post happily that your champagne isn't going to waste. It's all okay, everyone! Dave wins because no matter what happened yesterday, he gets to merrily drink his champagne!

And there was always last summer where you dedicated yourself to moaning about the low quality of City fans for months because you're bitter and hateful. You care nothing for City. You care about Dave. You weren't happy about winning the title although you tried to lie about it for a short bit, but it quickly became apparent what was really important to you when your inane defense of whining that people were mean to you for talking big after the Arsenal match slagging everyone off who had dared disagree with you. You're a bully albeit a poor one and you love to dish it out and then whine about civility when it comes back at you.

So you think he's a **** ?

<nudges citysince88 and whispers> I think he does, mate

If City sack Mancini this could be one of the biggest mistakes city have made in my lifetime.

Typical city isn't dead, khaldoon was so wrong on that one.

Or it could be one of the major decisions that propel us to the next level, although I agree that this has been dealt with very ruthlessly and (from our perspective) with bad timing, only time will tell on that one, but you have to acknowledge that our owners are primarily buisnessmen and as like most businessmen are ruthless in their hiring and firing of employees. It seems to me, however unfair, that our owners will do whatever it takes to make MCFC a major force in world football, this can not be achieved by letting achievable targets slip through our fingers.

not ruthless enough if you ask me
should have responded sooner over the Booby and Mario circus the show that kept giving

might have had a better shot at the league and CL this season if we had acted more decisively live
by the sword and all that nonsence maybe Booby forgot that applied to him too

Why should be the mistake? Think again.

Barcelona duo is here to take care mostly our finances, because of the wrong reputation of easy throwing money, so if player market value is 5 mil. and we are interesting for that player, all others ask 10 mil, so price is double just if they see that City is interesting for that player?

So that must be changed, and that is main reason why Barcelona duo is in Manchester and why Mancini must go.

It is like moving on another level or in new era of smart club politic where money will not be throw out just like that, so coach will need to take everything out of current players and used them to the maximum, not to buy expensive and sell cheap on monthly base, just because he have verbal "fight" with them in public. We all know about financial rules and limits, that must be fix.

Also this is not just a sport, it is business, so when owner invested, some said £300 mil. he had specific targets, and main target most likely is not just a title from time to time, or FA cup, but also European top.

If we look Mancini personal relations with players, did anybody asked how much public verbal "fight" between Mancini and Tevez cost the club? What about that fight "I love you, I hate you" with Balo and etc? City lost a millions just on that.

Relations between manager and players must be kept private no mater what, also manager cannot talk publicly shit about players, because they are club investments, so every time when he publicly talk shit about club investments, than club losing millions.

Mancini is OK, but it seems club must move on another level, and that will not be possible with Mancini. So good luck to Mancini in new club.

From Oliver Kay (Times):

The mistake would be to think that Roberto Mancini is losing his job because only first place is good enough for Manchester City these days.

This was not a kneejerk reaction to defeat in the FA Cup Final on Saturday evening or to finishing as runners-up in the Barclays Premier League. It is not a decision that has been made lightly or impulsively. It is a decision that has been months in the making. All season long the City hierarchy has had reservations and pained discussions about Mancini.
