So why the fuck did they give him 5!! 5 fucking years! Then in the same breath not back him in the transfer market last summer. I didn't think he'd be here for 5 years but seems pretty strange the decision to fuck him off was made months ago.

Not aimed at you btw.
I'm struggling to understand this, particularly as I'm under the distinct impression that they didn't see him as the long-term replacement for Hughes from day 1 allegedly.

But having come in and won us the league playing, for some of the season, the most scintillating football for many years, perhaps they thought he was the right man after all. Then, having got a 5-year contract under his belt, he thought he was indestructible and he could afford to piss the new CEO and DOF off big time. MEN even reporting that he barely speaks to Vicky Kloss, as he blames her for the press he gets. According to him, no one else but him does their job well at City.

The more I hear about him the more I think he's one of those arrogant twats who think everyone but them is out of synch and not good enough to work with him. I don't respect people like that and I'll be glad to see the back of him.

So if you worked for a firm and they never backed you up... and then the guy in charge OF BUYING IN THE NEW WHATEVER.. UPDATES ETC fucked things up that YOUR job hung on you would be happy?? DONT THINK SO!

the firm fucked up here.. in every way! as for Calling him a TWAT.. FUCK OFF!
I am becoming increasingly aroused by your posts.

From Oliver Kay (Times):
"All season long"

So their initial reservations and discussions where based on what?
A piss poor CL campaign maybe?

But when Mancini was appointed everybody was aware of his forays into the CL. He hadn't taken a decent Inter side into the latter stages, and Mourinho did. Why appoint then if there was a question mark over him? I think the CL is the excuse they are hanging the sacking on! If they sack Mancini because of a poor CL, they backed the wrong horse in the first place and they are culpable.

And I don't rate the last two years in the CL as an unmitigated disaster. We would have qualified the first season had we been in a few other groups, and last season we were stitched up by the shitehawks at Uefa, and but for a couple of inexplicable seconds at the Bernabeu we would have done the might Real. Defeat on that day cannot be laid at Mancini's door!

He is perfectly within his rights to say what he has said,he has been hung out to dry many times by vicky and co none more so than yesterday,he has no protection from the media and has had to endure the media sniping from day one.for sure he is not walking out on us it is the sack or nothing

The way this is being handled one could be forgiven for thinking Swales was still in charge lol

i adore mancini even more for this:

You’re still popular with the fans, do you think that will help you keep your job?

This is normal because we won. I don’t think there will ever be another manager who will win 6-1 at Old Trafford against Ferguson. I was the first manager who, after 30 years, took the banner from Old Trafford. We won one Premier League, we won one FA Cup, one Charity Shield. For this reason, I am very popular with the supporters. I love them, they love me. I am very happy for this. If I leave the club, I will be the first supporter of Manchester City in the future. Now, I can say nothing. I don’t know whether it’s true or not.

I hope Mancini takes us to the cleaners and demands full payment for the last 4 years of his contract.
Who you support, Mancini or club? I just don't understand some lads here? They hope Mancini will take all money from club? So you support more Mancini than club?

You seriously joined this site today today and you are asking me who I support? We gave him a contract for 5 years, he's got 4 years left. After what he won as our leader, coupled with the shambolic way the change of manager has been handled - again - I think he's entitled to it don't you?

I appreciate him for how far he has brought us but i think its time for a refresh, players included. We seem to went backwards this season and his tactics some games have been more then questionable. Anyway thanks for what you did and good luck in the future wherever you go!

mancini clearly a dead man walking. everyones reporting that pelligrinis the man .. but is he ? smoke screen for mourinho anyone ?

Looks like a few bets were placed on Mourinho today actually - At one bookies, the odds fell from 16-1 to 3-1 at one stage, and at another he's gone from 20-1 to 6-1 now.

I know that these markets can be very thin and a few bets can make the price move a lot, but it's interesting that people have put money on Mourinho today when Pellegrini is supposed to be nailed on.

I would love for Bobby to stay and i think he will.

I really can't see it now, mate. It doesn't make much business or footballing sense, to me, for them to respond to all this media talk with silence, regardless of whether he's staying or going, but if they are planning on giving him another season, then it's god-damn retarded.

I'm 99% sure he he'll be gone before the end of the month.

Am I still allowed to say Forza Mancini...

I see Malaga did well tonight at home!
TBF to Malaga they do have a lot of defensive absentees.

Having said that so did Wigan so that's not much of an excuse
