MANCINI CALL TO ARMS

Ticket for Schalke.

I do care if it means we've got to get a result in Juventus to go through. I'm off there and we could all do without Juve being knocked out by us. My guess is the atmosphere might be tasty enough without that added 'spice'. Europa League is something we should be aiming to win and a result last night would have taken all the pressure off till Spring next year. The team selection wa a bit short-sighted imho and the result showed it.

I still back Mancini but last night was very disappointing. At least now he has all the players rested to do the job against the Baggies and Rags I suppose.

Its called "SUPPORT"..Here endeth the lesson.

Come on. Define it.
Depends on the individual tbh,
to me its what you do when you have love or passion for something...But most have differing views on how to portray it..I believe that we will be truly great one day so when i look back on how i behaved towards my team in the diffucult times then i will feel better that i was understanding and willing to persevere until it got better..
Many will say im wrong im sure..but like i said support is down to each and every individual to portray it in what way they like...
Most row and handbag session on here is due to this..
I suppose i would be classed as happy clapper by the supporters i would class as negative...and so it goes..

who the fuck is right.. cos there aint no in betweens..

There's a saying Dave...you can know everthing there is to know about something but the out come would still be the same if you knew nothing..

Anyone not fully behind the team and manager does not have the club's best interest at hear - in my opinion.

When will they learn that constantly chopping and changing the manager will not work.

The last 30 years has proven that to the nth degree.

What does "get behind the team and manager" mean?

I keep asking this of people who make this point and noone can answer.

I think the point being made is pretty clear.

As has been proven with successful teams over the years, a manager and his team need time. It would be incredibly naive to think this team is not going to go through rocky patches to get where we want to be. Now is the time to "get behind the team and manager" because to put another manager in place now would be without a doubt the most ludicrous thing that could happen to our team right now.

So what's the point in Bluemoon then Sam?

Seems to me that there's a fuck load of people advocating that Bluemoon be censored, or that we censor each others opinions based on some vague notion that it feeds the negative press agenda.

The fact is that the press will be negative come what may. We could have a board full of "Mancini is great" threads and it wouldn't change the tone of the press right now because our performances have given them that ammunition...not this board.

What's worse, and I'm not accusing you of this mate, are the posters who start insinuating that by criticizing Mancini on Bluemoon you're not a real City supporter, or that you don't have the club's best interests at heart. Criticizing the manager is no different to criticizing a player, the ticket office, or the Balti pies...

The fact will always remain, that the owners will dispense with Mancini (just as they did with Hughes), when they see fit. It'll have nothing whatsoever to do with what we think.

Time to stand our ground and fight.

City fans have a part to play, and for too long, because we feel we deserve it, due to decades of debacles, believe we now only need sit back and await it.

Wrong, the hard work starts now. You earn the right. Sheikh Mansour has given us the tools, now, along with the players, we must finish the job.

That starts by getting behind the manager and repelling all invaders.

Well said! I totally agree! lets start in the trenches and start shooting some of our own negative cowardly fans who alway look for the negative in players, managers and games.

Dissapointed to see 3 defeats, sure I am. Had Boyata not been sent off after 5 in the Gunners game we could be looking at somthing completly different here.

I'm behind Mancini 100% and I'm not worried. I will however kick right off if they sack him as we'll go back to square one!

I'm lookin' forward to West Brom, should be a good tie as it stands. Come on City!

Good post. No need to worry at all just give the guy time and trust in what he's trying to do.
I will also be very pissed off if RM is sacked. Back to square one again, and then in 18 months time when we have a little rough spell we'll sack the next manager too. It's bullshit.
Besides, who are we gonna bring in? More chance of Martin O Neill than Jose so what would be the point?

Can add nothing to this thread other than my wholehearted agreement and 100% support.

Good lad! I thought for a moment you were advocating something altogether different...;- )

(BTW...my personal opinion is that we'll nick the points at WBA, slap the rags, and be back to talking about being title contenders by the end of the following weekend...as they say, a week is a long time in football!)

i for one is right behind mancini, top bloke i just wish the players would bond more with the fans like the hamberg players that would give the impression that we're in this together
