The fact that you have replied to my post with your take and opinion on things.

That's the point of bluemoon..

Conflicting views and wind ups..thats the point of Bluemoon..
I cetainly wouldnt be here if it was all love ins and backslapping..

eeew !! that'd be duller than a dull day in cleethorpes on a wednesday.

Good lad! I thought for a moment you were advocating something altogether different...;- )

(BTW...my personal opinion is that we'll nick the points at WBA, slap the rags, and be back to talking about being title contenders by the end of the following weekend...as they say, a week is a long time in football!)

Fookin happyclapper.. ;-)

I think that too..:)

Its called "SUPPORT"..Here endeth the lesson.

Come on. Define it.
I define it as " better the devil you know than the one you don't" The board can bring in who the hell they like and it may not be to my liking or a JM type either, so I cross my fingers and refrain from publicly airing my real opinion until Xmas is over as the point of no return may or may not be passed over the next couple of games. "censor myself" and wait and see what happens.
Not my best analogy but you wouldn't believe what I think of some of our players but while they wear the shirt I try and keep out of the slagging threads.

Tolmie you are bang on. This is the type of stuff you want to come and read. You don't want to be on here, Friday afternoon after three defeats, looking ahead to a challenge in WBA (to be fair they have done well).

But this is what we need. Supporters, and not expecters indeed.

Good Shout.

C'Mon City

Ok - In my opinion it is giving a united (*sick*) front. We all know lazy journo's come on here and often. With the media desperate to jump on anything and find divisions where there may be none, what we need to do is fall into line and show the cunts they don't matter. Not attack the manger after a bad game or two. Not attack a 19 year old making his full debut. Not try and find something sinister about our captain returning home for personal reasons during a time that he is unable to train with the rest of the squad.

Is it not an easily definable quality and can't be broken down into a handy quote I am afraid.

There are enough wolves out there without biting each other.

-- Fri Nov 05, 2010 5:14 pm --

Depends on the individual tbh,
to me its what you do when you have love or passion for something...But most have differing views on how to portray it..I believe that we will be truly great one day so when i look back on how i behaved towards my team in the diffucult times then i will feel better that i was understanding and willing to persevere until it got better..
Many will say im wrong im sure..but like i said support is down to each and every individual to portray it in what way they like...
Most row and handbag session on here is due to this..
I suppose i would be classed as happy clapper by the supporters i would class as negative...and so it goes..

who the fuck is right.. cos there aint no in betweens..

There's a saying Dave...you can know everthing there is to know about something but the out come would still be the same if you knew nothing..

So what's the point in Bluemoon then Sam?

Seems to me that there's a fuck load of people advocating that Bluemoon be censored, or that we censor each others opinions based on some vague notion that it feeds the negative press agenda.

The fact is that the press will be negative come what may. We could have a board full of "Mancini is great" threads and it wouldn't change the tone of the press right now because our performances have given them that ammunition...not this board.

What's worse, and I'm not accusing you of this mate, are the posters who start insinuating that by criticizing Mancini on Bluemoon you're not a real City supporter, or that you don't have the club's best interests at heart. Criticizing the manager is no different to criticizing a player, the ticket office, or the Balti pies...

The fact will always remain, that the owners will dispense with Mancini (just as they did with Hughes), when they see fit. It'll have nothing whatsoever to do with what we think.

I have a feeling that you may be criticising me due to the use of my sentence word for word.

I can live with that quite comfortably though ;)

However to think that fans make no odds as to how long a manger lasts in naieve in the very extreme Billy lad.

Sometimes, tbh i don't like Mancini's methods, tactics, etc. But as a City fan, a day he is the City boss, a day I shall stand behind him.

Show your City support, show the others what City fans are truly made of. Forza Mancini, CTID.

You are indeed correct, I was referring to your post. Find those types of things to be cheap pot shots, not to mention that they are completely baseless. I could argue that it is in fact I who have the club's best interests at heart as I'm not interested in sweeping any problems under the carpet, just as I imagine the owners aren't...

I understand that particular types of supporters just want to 'support' regardless of what is going on in front of them. I respect that. I'd expect the same courtesy extended to me even if I don't want to sugar coat every aspect of what's happening on the pitch at the moment...

Got to give him time.
3 defeats on the spin, one with ten men against a very good passing team.
We've been below par the last 2 games, no coincedence that there was no tevez . We lack any urgency when he's not in the side.

It is frustrating at times and we can improve, but we sit 4th and are joint top in Europe.

I'll judge at the end of season on if we've progressed,
