Doctor quick! - tolmie's hairdoo has a Winston Churchill complex.

A bit of tubthumping never did the great man any harm.

Would certainly be better listening in the after-match than Holloway!

how long did he get to win the war? 6 years? even though at one point we brought all our troops how off the french beaches on any boat we could find...

I think we should have sacked him after day two of The Blitz, myself.

And don't get me started on that bastard Stalin. 80 miles from Moscow, thank fuck for the snow, eh!

As do mine. And they have nothing to do with Stevie. A shame that you've tried to subtlety undermine any point I may make in this thread by mentioning him.

Last night was a shit performance, as was the Wolves performance. Our reactions on this board will have ZERO influence on how the team performs on Sunday...

I find the whole "the world is against us" rhetoric to be borderline scouse behaviour...lets accept the strengths of the club, but lets not paper over the weaknesses out some perceived persecution complex...

I have to disagree at your take of opinions on here and elsewhere, that they have absolutely no impact.

They certainly do. It provides an indicator to mood, both amongst media organisations and fellow fans.

In terms of Stevie, no slight, and although you insist, there have been a couple of occasions from you in recent days with subtle references to his man-management skills of certain players - and how he should bend.

It's also not correct in terms of trying undermine your valid points.

This was simply a thread for ra ra - not blah blah.

Numerous other threads have been created which make the current divided opinions all too apparent in terms of Mancini's skill set.

Tolm, I admire your rhetoric and stoicism. But apart from a bit of rabble rousing you've been noticeably quiet over the last period.

A period which we've had a leak that the players don't like the manager, numerous on field bust-ups, a dressing room bust-up, a player fucking off home in a strop, the absence of our captain and a couple of dreadful performances.

Why do you think it is?

Roll on the Baggies on Sunday.

I for one will be going fookin mental when Mario bangs in his first EPL goal.

CTID.

I refer the honourable gentlemen to the answer I gave earlier (in the 'Mancio Post Poznan' thread):

The press hysteria over a meltdown at City should galvanise us into putting up a united front, not lead to the same knee-jerk reactions. He's the right man for the job. His demeanour, attitude, discipline tells us this. Without support from within he might just decide that the job is not worth the personal pressure that comes with it. Then where do we go or who do we go to? The rest can all f**k off.

Seige mentality indeed. Come on City!

Just keeping my own council, Dave. I am fortunate to get to see things from various perspectives.

As a result, sometimes things can be made to look a lot worse than they actually are.

Dreadful performances are the norm for any season, any club.

As are some of the other supposed issues of concern for some.

Anyone not fully behind the team and manager does not have the club's best interest at hear - in my opinion.

When will they learn that constantly chopping and changing the manager will not work.

The last 30 years has proven that to the nth degree.

What does "get behind the team and manager" mean?

I keep asking this of people who make this point and noone can answer.

Its called "SUPPORT"..Here endeth the lesson.

Mancini puts more effort in one interview than some of our players do for a whole match.

I know where the blame lies for me. When you're on the money some of our lot earn, you can't really complain about being "played out of position", i'd expect them to be able to perform heart surgery afterwards!
Forza Mancini!!
