Mancini: Carlos has told me he wants to stay

hope this is true, got teary when he came off and seemingly waved, really hope he stays, handcuff him or sumthing over summer so he has to bobby!!

Those on the outside can sneer and mock as much as they like but no money and a shit team or loaded with a great team, as we are now, our club has always and will always be "great".
 
If Tevez stays it will be great no doubting it he is a world class player and it should take silly money for the club to even think about selling him. Also why would he want to leave we are 1 game away of automatic champions league football. Stay here lead the team and play with better players again next season. I think this is huge for next season. Just look at his goals tonight if we loose that type of player it is hard to replace him.

Hate to put a dampner on it but just because he wants to stay doesnt mean that he will. Hasnt he said recently that the ultimate decision will be taken when he talks it out with his family?

Also, I wonder how come we hear now from Mancini that Tevez told him he wants to stay, even before the cup final?

I'd think so they don't really play the same positions, it wouldn't be a like-for-like switch.

I was just about to post exactly the same thing. I don't think people should get carried away by this. Usually the will of the player is all you need but in this case we will need the will of the player and the will of the family (the later being of equal importance).

I will not be celebrating until I hear Carlos say "I will be a Manchester City player next season". Hopefully with something along the lines of finishing his career here would be a nice Brucie Bonus too.
