Try incredibly consistent league performances with limited resources at Villarreal (they've been relegated since) including a second place finish, coupled with consistent Champions League performances including a semi-final appearance. Went to Real Madrid for a season and led them to their highest ever league points total (before being harshly replaced with Mourinho), came to Malaga and led them into the Champions League with their highest ever league points total, before two crazy minutes and an offside goal denied them a debut season semi-final appearance, and is still pushing for a second Champions League appearance (if UEFA allow) all under great financial strain.

Bobby is in charge of the best squad in England, to be brutal despite two good performances against a weak United team and a tired directionless Chelsea he isn't Pellegrini.
Selfishly bumping my own post for Pablo1 to read as I think by the time it was approved it was several pages deep.

Well Mancini didn't do too bad with limited resources at Fiorentina and Lazio, winning trophies at both before going to inter and winning trophies there then coming to city and.. Well I think you get the point.
I'm glad he's no Pellegrini because as it stands I enjoy going to cup finals and winning leagues.
Every club in Italy has had limited resources for the best part of a decade, domestic achievements there do not compare to both domestic and Champions League success in Spain. Considering the team we field week in week out compared to the rags', an FA Cup success is meager.

Mate, it's your prerogative to think like that, we can go back and forth all day point scoring on the pros and cons of Mancini but what's the point? I'm happy with what we've achieved so far and your not. I think he has his flaws and he's made errors this year but overall I believe he's done enough to justify keeping his job.

Just to clarify, winning absolutely nothing (except the Intertoto) doesn't count as "both domestic and Champions League success in Spain".

Back home, there is only 2 top trophies on offer (though I wouldn't mind the mickey mouse to complete the set), and we've won both under Mancini. The FA Cup is not meagre, it is the oldest and best cup competition in the world. And it isn't won yet, we are merely in the final match of it.

I'll agree that our first choice man for man team is better than the scum, unfortunately in sport sometimes it doesn't always work out and luck has a lot to do with it no matter how well you prepare. But we can accept that, unlike the scum. Last year still hurts for them, it hurts bad, which is why they've had such a good season (in the league) so far imo. I don't expect them to find it so easy next season. Meanwhile we will improve aspects of our side and we'll do it all over again, and currently we sit in second despite the "disaster" of a season we have had so far. Even with the money, it could be a helluva lot worse. Better the devil you know for the outers, for the inners, well we were and are behind him anyway. Because in the view of many he has been the catalyst between the money and the success.

I like Dzeko but he has not in he's best form since coming to City.
But I don't blame him, I blame Roberto Mancini.

Roberto Mancini has singlehandedly destroyed his career amongst other players in the team Kolo Toure, Lescott amongst others...it hurts to see him talk
about rotation policy when it comes to Edin and already departed Mario. But for this litte pig Tevez who left us and has basically talked shit about Man City and the town of Manchester not to mention England in whole of South America, Mancini does not cope to do anything against him. He is a fantastic talent but no Messi which means that he should not be respected in the manner like Messi. City would be champions if Mancini would take care of this in a proper way. Instead he let Carlos walk back to the team STILL NOT able to speak English which is another funny thing, since it clearly tells you what kind of person he is.

It's clearly that Mancini is a coward and a weak manager who does not have any pride, if he would have he should never have taken Carlos back to the team even if it gets us the title, you have to understand that it totally destroys the team athmosphere...he's talking about rotation, about justice and that the players have to struggle in order to get a chance?? But some players are marquee favorites and he does not hesitate to say it, which means that he is typically trying to influence a italian way of thinking into MCFC. This influence is all about the INDIVIDUAL. Some players fight like crazy (Milner) and then Yaya comes back from the african games and get's to start right away, do you guys seriously think that this does not create disharmony in the team. Nasri has been really bad this season but still he does one good match and gets to start from thereover imagine other players who fights week in and out and does not get the chance, it's ridiculos. This is the only Top-Club that acts like this, it's pure amateur football and this could clearly be seen when we face Euro opponents. He is unsecure aswell since he's not a man to take a blame when it goes bad for the team but instead puts it all on the players. This is something that has been done ever since he coached in Italy, that's why they left him, a good trainer that always blames the surroundings is the Italian view on Mancini. Look how he talked in Inter, we need players, we need money, we cannot win Champions league with this squad, we need to improve our team. And every year he recieved a large amount of money and bought new players without sucess, then Mourinho came and the rest is history.

In Edins example for instance the last game was the 4-0 win over Watford.
He's not been playing since and this is really disgusting to see such hate from a manager who brought him here. Still he is our top-scorer even though Mancini has done everything possible in his way in order for Aguero and Tevez to have a better goal-scoring tally. Edin is a full international player respected by so many managers Klopp, Mourinho, Magath, Heynecks and more. Carlos Tevez does not play for the international team not because of his qualities but because of his attitude, he destroys for the other players. This could clearly be seen since Argentina is playing real good football at the moment with wonderful and good honest persons like Aguero in the front line.

I think Edin deserves a proper chance with real support from wing players like Micah Richards, then Edin thrives. Every striker at the moment would struggle in City since its our midfield creating the problems, we play really boring football sometimes and this is all because our coach and his coward tactics when we have a 2-0 lead. We have a build up play which is really horrible to watch some times, for gods sake we attack less than Stoke City. All praise to Zabaleta but he does not have a clue about crosses. Dont know how you guys feel but it annoys the hell out of me to watch the ball being played up outside the penalty area for a cross just in order to play it all the way back and start all over again.

Sorry for my English and for my long reply.
I hope you all can understand me in a proper way, I would rather play correct football with a great atmosphere and an OWN identity rather than having a club full of selfish non-english speaking mega-stars in the club, who does not give a rats ass about the fans nor the club execpt for their own personal interests.

Cheers

What a pile of shit.
He's posted pretty much the same thing in a three of his (periodic) posts.
Either his agent or his missus is my guess.
You read it all? I got as far as singlehandedly destroyed the careers of Kolo and Lescott before deciding I wouldn't waste another second reading it.

I highly suspect you haven't followed City for more than 2 seasons at least. Before Mancini arrived, the Kolo-Lescott partnership was laughable at best. Sceptical fans around the globe mocked us for spending so much money on a failing defensive partnership. Mancini came, and our defence instantly improved.

Lescott is now arguably the best English centre back. Kolo doesn't play as often because he wasn't good enough, but does decently well when called upon. That's hardly career-destructing.

Any proper City fan would know that Tevez speaks English, just doesn't do it on television/interviews.

True, Tevez has talked an amount of shit, but in fact, most of us, likes to whine and whinge at our daily jobs. And he hasn't stated he hates club or whatnot, just the area its around. We keep the player because Tevez gives 110% every game. He was bought to play football, not love the city.

I daresay, prior to the shit he did at Munich, we are pretty lucky to have Tevez.

If we don't win the title = Blame Mancini for driving Tevez out.
If we win the title = Says Mancini is a coward for bringing Tevez in.

I weep for our boss, because to some fans, for whatever he does, he cannot win.

There's no logic to your statement. So, you would rather we lose the title, because you would prefer we have a manager who has more "pride"?

And I don't see how Mancini's managerial approach is bad. True, it's ugly, but I believe it's effective.

We have a team of players on high wages and susceptible to ego issues. Having an disciplinarian keeps these players in check. And up till now, I haven't heard a player in the squad cry about Mancini.

Clichy has called for the boss to stay. Aguero has called for the boss to stay. The Mancini-outers in the squad are people who couldn't live up to their own wages and were actually happy to kiss the bench and collect their paychecks. These people don't even last in the squad for long.

And what in God's name is an OWN identity? Are we still not City? Does #together mean shit?

You sound like a bitter Rag. If you don't like where our club is heading, you can kindly f*** off. Because in my opinion, this club has one of the best fans, players who bleed City, a great future, great management, and I can only know, it's moving on to better things.

Mr Mancini has brought unprecedented success to our club.

Reading your post, I just had woman Stewie's accent in my head. Sorry.

What a load of drivel, there are many clueless shitbags on this forum who spout nothing but negativity and bullshit about our club and its staff.. Congratulations, you are the king of em all.. Now pack your forum bags and fuck off!!!!!

Er, was that directed at me BTD?
