Same here mate. Showed some great respect and confidence in my opinion.
Mancini in last grasp attempt to save job, a close source reports?

Click on the guardian pics 1st picture of Khaldoun with Mancini here's the caption

" Ominously for Manchester City's manager Roberto Mancini, the club's chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak is pitchside before kick-off inspecting his team. Given City's disappointing form in the Premier League and Champions League this term, the need for domestic cup success is apparent"

even after monday and today they still cant bring themselves to give him any credit.no doubt when he stays they will say every manager in the known universe has snubbed city,so we are stuck with him

Re: Robert "the genius" Mancini

City were awesome today if that game had finished four or five nil no one could have complained. Our fans were amazing today as per we out sang Chelsea big time. I don't care what flack I get for saying this I don't think people who still want rid off mancini have a clue the football we play at times is breathtaking. I bet most of the haters weren't there and they haven't got the guys to come on here and give credit where it's due. They think trying to sound erudite on this forum is more important to supporting a club than actually supporting the club. 30 mins from home buzzing for the final rant over.

Wonder if the hit squad DD, Haircut and shears will be doing the right thing today and getting down to wembley to support rm and the team. Or will they be sat at home waiting for an opportunity to get stuck in on here?

My, my, you're almost a voyeur...

Well I'll be at home, as I was for the semi final against United.

I don't agree with the semi-finals at Wembley and gave my tickets to somebody else to enjoy the day.

That's the thing about conviction and principles, you don't change them just because a majority might be doing something else.

Enjoy your day blues, give 'em a cheer for me.
OK boss, so you dislike Mancini on principle now? That's a new twist.. give you that.

Jesus can't believe what I read on here sometimes, we are in the FINAL of the FA cup twice in three years win the prem last year and people still moan about the manager, sometimes I really wonder whether some on here still want the old city back where the big important games where whether we got relegated or not.

I honestly don't know what more the man can do.

Other than walk, that's the impression I get.why for just 1 or 2 seasons we cannot be together .bobby has given us more in 3 seasons than I have seen in a lifetime.. If you are not happy now .ffs god forbid

An earlier poster mentioned it and that is the inherent bias that Roberto has had to overcome with regards Ferguson.

A couple of years ago Robert Martinez and Rafa Benitez both mentioned that you not only have to win a match but overcome the bias and over respect shown to Ferguson. His relationship with other managers is too close. Take for example when his son was sacked from Preston he recalled 2 loan players the next day and Pullis at Stoke recalled 3 of his players. What did it have to do with him.

Bruce's teams I don't think ever beat him. He has socialised with Allardyce for years and Moyes always gets his team to raise their game against us and put up a fight. Ferguson is always on the phone to players going through a bad time in the hope it will be repaid in years to come.

Roberto has done well to come into Fergusons back yard, take 3 trophies, another visit to Wembley in May and go to Old Trafford twice and win. He's had to adjust to our culture and learn the language.

Roberto has done well. Just to have money does not always guarantee success.

I think the Roberto song will echo around the Etihad on Wednesday, and he deserves it.

Well said. Not only this but he's taken the piss-can on and got under the old fucker's skin.

That behaviour of Pulis was a disgrace. Just another teacher's pet supping vino in the master's office.

Re: Robert "the genius" Mancini

Anyone who remembers Halifax Town, Shrewsbury Town or more recently Notts Forest can only admire the job Mancini is doing.

Two finals in 3 years, the hardest semi final draws possible. Takes some doing. Still need to beat Wigan though.

It actually makes me sad. Nobody is perfect and what people don't realise is just how big a job Roberto has, he has so many people he needs to get on the same page as him, players, coaches, doctors, physios, chairmen, board members and the owner, that's not including the pressure from the media and fans. We have a great man in charge who is doing a great job, why can't we just let him do his job and support him ?

You really think being out of the title race in February and bottom of our Champs League group is 'doing a great job'? I make no apologies for saying that I don't. If he's still here next season he must do better.
