Mancini has won trophies when he had to win. this year i think that we didn't have good squad enough to win PL. yes we have the best starting eleven in England but that's not enough. we lost adam jonson who scored 6-7 important goals last year, we lost de jong who is much more better than garsia and rodwell and could play in the first half well, when barry was injured. so this year we were without bench. last year we were lucky that no one was injured from key players but this year barry was injured in the summer, aguero was injured in the first game of PL, silva was injured, clichy, kompany and it had it's affect on the team.
in the CL real madrid and borussia were better than us and they deserved it. i think that it's not mancini's fault that we depend on yaya or aguero, it's fault of bryan merwood whose job was to buy extra class players, but he failed. next year when soriano and chiki will do their job and buy players enough for first squad and bench too, mancini will do the maqsimum anyone can do with that squad. i don't think who we will buy but mancini will do his job, i am sure. today we played well, we dominated, we were much more better than chelsea but we need better midfielder than barry for that 25 minutes, better winger than milner for that 25 minutes and better striker for that 25 minutes than dzeko. that was the reason in madrid, in that 25 minutes we lost the game, we could have won. i don't think that because they dominated they deserved, we had our tacktiks and it was working well, but lack of good players for madrid was the reason we lost. when you play against madrid barsa or bayern yaya can't do the job he does against rags or chelsea, he has to win against khedira, alonso, ozil and when he plays with barry or alonso it's impossible. that's why i think that it was good choice to leave mancini : )

We have seen in the last two games against United and Chelsea just what a very good team we have....and it will be great if we win another trophy.

I think Mancini will keep his job but I can't stop wondering where has this great team of the last week been for most of the season.....how have we allowed an average United team to be 15 points clear. Forget the 'outers' and 'inners' crap..... there is no doubt that the manager has some serious questions to answer.

And you don't think that injuries /abscences have anything to do with it ??

Am I the only one that thinks the biggest difference between us and them today was the fact that they've been playing matches every couple of days and we haven't?

If we're honest with ourselves, Aguero should have been sent off, and torres was fouled in the box by Kompany. We were shit the entire second half, and the negative tactics brought the pressure on us.

But yeah, pure genius.

I see your point mate........athink! But pretty much the whole Chelsea team were rested in midweek.

Pish. Don't be daft, failure to retain this season can't be laid soley with Mancini.

Why are so many city fans indoctrinated by the media, bobbys record since he came is second to no one per amount of games?

I know its weird on twitter also there are reporters saying if he wins the Fa cup it still might not be good enough to keep his job!! Where do they get this evidence that our owners are sacking lot!
Best just move on mate. It is abundantly clear that we have a top notch manager, yet those who "know football" somehow think otherwise.

We are a good side, no doubts whatsoever, and on our day we are the best side in the Prem.

What we lack, as we all know, is pace. We shouldn't have ran out of steam so badly in the last 20 mins today. If we strengthen correctly in the summer and add some youth with a bit of zip then we should dominate next season. Hazard, although anonymous for 65 mins, showed in that last 20 what would be the perfect compliment to our side.

Fair fucks to Bob though, a cup and comfortable 2nd place will be just about acceptable after our poor chumps performance.

Still remains to be seen though whether Ferran and Txiki will deem him the man to take us on over the next few years.

Andy Townsend today - "When they bring their A game, they really are the best side in the division"

Plenty to be laid at the players doors as well as Mancini for the failures of this season. No time to rest at the top, it's relentless. The pat on the back for winning doesn't last the whole following season.

City winning is a tough week??

I think you're a tad confused.

You have done well to post without bringing in the scums record.
